GoNintendo 'End of Day' thought - Are you worried about Nintendo?

Come on, Spring...it's time to be more like Spring! I'm tired of these Winter-like conditions! Someone needs to tell Spring that it has sprung! Wherever you are, I hope the weather is acting as it should! See you in a few, short hours.

Nintendo fans are used to getting beaten up. Not physically, of course! I'm talking about bashed, bruised and battered through communication. Nintendo fans almost always get harassed by other gamers in real-life situations. We also get our lumps in various online forums when topics start burning. It's just the way things are...and have been for a long time.

Of course, over all these years, many of us have been told time and time again that Nintendo is on its way out. No matter how successful a Nintendo platform is, there are still plenty of people that believe the Big N has one foot in the grave, with the other quickly dropping in. We usually bat away those claims and try to explain why that's not true, but those explanations fall on deaf ears.

I think the well-informed Nintendo fan of today knows that the company isn't close to death, but it's certainly going through some troubles. The 3DS is hitting its stride after growing pains, and the Wii U is currently suffering from those same early first missteps that the 3DS faced. Can Nintendo turn things around for the Wii U as they did 3DS? We'd like to think that's the case, but we're only playing armchair analyst when we detail our vision for their future.

With Nintendo's current situation, do you find yourself more worried for their future than ever before? Is this just another storm for Nintendo to weather, much like the others they've taken on? Is something different about this situation that has you a bit more on edge than usual?
