Animal Crossing: New Leaf listed as $35 on 3DS eShop

Looks like we might be getting Animal Crossing: New Leaf for a little less than we thought! Let's hope this price sticks. Any little bit helps! Thanks to Peenbbb2 for the heads up.

$35 at Gamestop. Nice and hope this is true for Pokemon X & Y later.

Superb, I was planning on getting this game digitally but initially seeing it $5 cheaper at retail caught my interest.

It isn't. All the retail chains have this game priced at $35.

That's what I said. Retail chains had it at $35, so I was gonna go retail, but now I'm going back to digital.

This surprises me, but it's great. This is actually one of the few games where I wouldn't have minded the standard $40 price tag. I guess they really want to push for a big hit like they had in Japan, and a $35 price will get more people to try it. Let's hope they adopt a similar strategy when they bring Dragon Quest X to the states, since it will already be pricey due to the USB stick.

Hmm, I wonder why the pricing is such a way for this game. The 3DS is doing relatively well here in the US, but I can't speak on the software attach rate. So it could be encourage software attachment. While DKCR3D is still $40 at GS, it is $35 at BB and Amazon. I have to wonder if they're pursuing a new pricing model. I can hope, but it feels unlikely.

It is the same price on Amazon...

It would be nice if all 3DS games were $35 or even $30. (If the Yen keeps weakening this may be the case)
