More confirmation of the Wii U Virtual Console launching on Tuesday

Nintendo.com has added in an official hub page for Excitebike on the Wii U Virtual Console. That page also happens to list April 23rd for a release date. Looks like that Tuesday launch for the service is actually the real deal! Thanks to Alan for the heads up.

I took some Snapshots of Nintendo of America's Excitebike Wii U eShop Download info and liked it on my Twitter and Facebook pages too. So we all know that Excitebike is in 3 days.

Balloon Fight is also listed in the games page and has a release date of April 21 for $4.99. Is this a date listing error or will we just be able to purchase this again but at the regular price on Sunday?

Hrrm, I hope there's more than just excitebike and balloon fight... actually I'm hoping for something that's not an NES game.

Virtual Console
Japan gets the goods, the US doesn't

Seriously they do
in Japan, they are getting "Devil World" on the 3DS VC
in the US - VC is scarce

Of course we can, Nintendo confirmed this months ago. Why do you think we can't?

When VC launches in Japan and the US
and you realize that Japan has more Wii U VC games than us here in the US
occupy the japanese miiverse pages for each game not coming to the US demanding a US release

The Japanese Lineup:

NES:
Ice Climber
Excitebike
Xevious
River City Ransom
Solomon's Key
Mega Man 3

SNES:
Fire Emblem
Super Mario World
Mario's Super Picross
F-Zero
Super Ghosts
Kirby Super Super Deluxe

from the ones i bolded, I proven my point that we should demand more VC games via Miiverse occupying
Isn't anyone tired of the US getting hosed in terms of Vrtual Console content while UK and Japan gets more than we do?

^^ ugh. is that really the full list? Please don't let this turn into another 3DS situation, Nintendo. At least pump the Wii U VC full of the games you already released on Wii! COME ON

This is why we show occupy the Japanese Miiverse whenever a game we desire isn't coming to the US is on the Japanese Wii U VC

If it worked for EarthBound and those bloody Starmen, Why not make the magic happen in our favor

The problem is they said GBA and N64 is planned in the near future
but when?

However, My problem is how are they gonna pull off gimmicky GBA games like the Boktai series or WarioWare Twisted on the Wii U?

Don't know about Boktai(maybe they can use the camera to sense light) but warioware twisted would work fine with the wiiiupad gyroscope.

Remember Mechanized Attack?
We expected to be a VC game to be compatible with the Wii Zapper but instead relied on the bloody d-pad and the A + B buttons

If games like ANY of the Boktai games, Yoshi Topsy-Turvy or WarioWare Twisted does come to Wii U VC
We should fear that they might gut they gimmicks out like a fish

So there's a crap load of games I can buy NOW on the Wii VC, but to play them in regular normal Wii U mode I am going to have to wait months or years to purchase the ones I want??? Am I the only one that sees a problem with this? Just freakin put them all out at once geez; this shovel should have been ready at system launch.

I was going to pass that list off as boring, but then I saw MM3 and got REALLY jealous. And Mario super picross? I've been wanting NOA to release that as a import like they did for europe since 2007. Why haven't they done it yet? Same with Devil world.

At least NA is confirmed to get MM1 soon. Still, I wonder if we'll get MMX 1-3 and MM 7

They would have to rerate every single title by the ESRB, but seeing how many 1st party games are on the Sizzle reel trailer, I have a feeling that we will get all 1st party ones VERY soon.
