I don't believe a word of it.

Man I love Emily's rumors! I really hope this comes true.

Is Emily Rogers hot? It sounds like a hot name. Haha.

I've grown to trust Emily Rogers, which is hard to do after the whole E3 fiasco from a few years ago. She's redeemed herself recently. Don't let me down, Em. Don't do it.

That being said, I would love to have the option to gift games. One of my biggest loves in life is giving things away!

One of my favorite NeoGAF posters sort of laid out while you should be weary of Ms. Rogers's rumors:

I wouldn't have been so snarky, but that's just how he is.

Sigh!
You did vow to never write again...

Or did that only apply to half of your online outlets and twitter accounts?
At least you stopped pretending stock images of "Emo" girls were yourself.

I wish for the following to be true
- Imports like "Devil World" will see US debut on Wii U VC
- Daigasso! Band Brothers and Tomodachi Connection: New Life confirmed for US release
- Nintendo announced a battery for the GamePad to address the battery life issue
- GCN, GBA and N64 confirmed for Wii U VC and tease that they will be fighting tooth and nail with Konami for the Turbografx-16/PC Engine support

@OmicronTurtle In her defense she stated that she would never write an article again.... which she hasn't

A lot of those aren't really big stretches. I mean a new 2D Mario on the 3DS? Obvious. A better improved online system for Wii U? They couldn't have done worse, so anything would have been much improved.

It's like me saying a new 3DS color might be coming sooner than you think. I've given myself plenty of room to be right.

And even a broken clock is right twice a day. Unless it's a digital and unplugged one. Then it is never right. :/

@Phil32 I understand your point, and I'm not trying to say by any means that you should believe something if you don't want to.

But I find that it's kind of unfair to glaze over things that were pretty specific as well. Like Zelda/Kirby getting released before years end, the Wii U gamepad, and Xenoblade/Last Story releasing state side.

I think it's clear that she has inside sources, but it could be a matter of "he said she said". Which would result in some vague and wrong things, and wouldn't make her entirely reliable.

I follow you. I'm not trying to say I don't believe her either. I'm just meaning to say that I'm optimistically cautious.

I have no reason to NOT believe this.

People who leak/hint at things that haven't been finalized ALWAYS have some stuff wrong either because of their source or because the thing it is about changes in the time between the leak and the actual release.

That said, I should hope this would mean I could play games I own on one console on both instead of having to buy them twice.

But that'd suck for those that did already since they're crazy.

@MichaelJacksonGhost

Pretty positive she had a picture of herself instead of Coraline at one point.

I mean, I enjoyed it. Hahaha. But I imagine the power of creepy internet people prompted her to change it back to Coraline, but I'm just making guesses here.

Oh! If this is the case, releasing Gameboy Advance games on the Wii U shop isn't that bad afterall.

I hope she's right about the gifting ability. I've wanted that feature back since the 3DS eShop launched two years ago.

Gifting? Please bring that back!
And Wii U VC games playable on 3DS... probably the GBA games?

These are the safest bullshit predictions imaginable.

Old rumor from above link: "The team that worked on Smash Bros 64, Smash Bros Melee, and Smash Bros Brawl transferred the assets of the game to another developer to work on it. The original Smash Bros team is not working on this new Smash Bros title."

There wasn't a single team that worked on the first three Smash games. In addition work on Smash Wii U and 3DS hadn't begun yet. Again, everything was really safe, except the ones that were wrong like SC5.

Why? Nintendo will still reveal stuff around E3... They won't just stay silent during E3. I can guarantee you there will be AT LEAST one Nintendo Direct during (and/or around) E3.

Yeah, but the game was outsourced which was right. And SC5 was actually Tekken. Same company making a fighting game, she got the titles mixed.

@Broken_Cartridge
Didn't see write an article like 1 or 2 months ago stating how terrible devs are to publishers or something and it happened to be terrible journalism?

She was called out for it and was made an image of mockery for the week.
