Capcom's cancelled projects include titles due out this fiscal year

“There were a few titles scheduled for the current fiscal year, but most of the cancelations were for releases planned in the fiscal year ending March 2015 and subsequent fiscal years. No titles that had already been announced were canceled.” - Capcom statement

Sadly, we will never get to see what those projects were. I guess this is what Capcom has to do to get back in the upswing of things.

so basically they were titles still in infancy in terms of production. Since most of them were Western-developed I get the feeling we didn't miss much

Here is an idea; How about instead of talking about the games we didn't know were coming are no longer coming and announce what you -ARE- planning on doing. Y'know, outside the realm of massloading DLC into our laps to get full versions of a 60-dollar game.

Okay, you have done an astounding job with MH3U now, but there's one more thing left that will make me fully forgive you:
1) Megaman Battle Network 7
And/Or
2) Megaman Starforce 4 (an anime adaptation of Starforce 3 is welcome too since you skipped that one)
And/Or
3) Megaman Legends 3

Uh, back when CAPCOM said it was cancelling games they said those titles were mostly WESTERN developed stuff. Not something we'd expect a Darkstalkers 4 or Mega Man game from

Capcom is kind of power mad now, they don't really care about the fanbases anymore because whatever they make will sell, RE6 is a good example

I still can't help but to shed a tear when I think back to how relevant Capcom used to be and how much I used to love this company and how they could practically do no wrong in the 80's, their golden decade the 90's, and early 2000's. To see what they have become and how I literally can't bring myself to buy any of their T-shirts in the Capcom store because I'm ashamed of who they are now and how they pretty much drove away Mikami, Inafune and closed down one of their best teams in Clover Studios and their practices with DLC as well as how they have ruined their once great franchises of Megaman, Resident Evil and Marvel vs Capcom hurts so much. Their logo literally makes me nauseous now whenever I see it.

Man, what I wouldn't give to know what the cancelled games were. Odds are they were the games least-likely to be successful, but still... makes you wonder what we might have got.

As long as there were no Resident Evil games cancelled ... There may be nothing to worry about :D
