I've never owned/played a megaman game...but I hear 2 is much better, maybe i'll wait for that

Did Nintendo ever explain why it took them so long to start the Wii U Virtual Console? Especially since they're just games that were released on the Wii's VC 5+ years ago?

Hey everybody...Nintendo wants us to buy Mega Man on VC for a third time. LOL

Mismanagement.

They were probably busy pouring all their energy into the needlessly over-featured OS.

Finally get to update our last ambassador game. Now, start releasing GBA games so we can update them as well.

@Jet Pilot

Uh, I don't think Capcom would mind too much either, but who cares when it's Nintendo's fault right? Bad Nintendo bad. :roll:

Never played a Nano Assault game and I've been waiting for a sale on them! and finally I get to upgrade BF on 3DS.

Can we take a second to talk about this...

"TANK! TANK! TANK! (DL) (Nintendo eShop on Wii U)"

I am genuinely curious to see if this is the same f2p version of T!T!T! that Japan and Europe got or if NoA/NAMCO just decided to toss the full-priced, retail version up there as is.

If it's the former, I will happily download it, play it, and maybe even pick up a piece of DLC (or 2!) just to support this model.

If it's the latter, I'll ignore it as I have been already.

@LegendofSantiago A lot of people consider MM2 the best in the classic series, yeah. The first game isn't bad or anything, but it's obvious they were still trying to figure some things out with the franchise at the time.

@Jet Pilot Haven't bought any of the Mega Man games on Wii or 3DS, so I'm pretty excited to play through them again.

I have to get Fluidity now. I had forgotten about it because I thought the price was too high. Now it's not! :)

@Jet Pilot

If by Nintendo you mean Capcom?

And if by "for the 3rd time" you mean "upgrade it", then yes.

Nintendo doesn't make people buy these old games multiple times. People who have no self-control and must own games on multiple systems or have to be shocked when it shows up on another system when it's for PEOPLE WHO DIDN'T ALREADY BUY IT are the ones.

That said, you're upgrading it. Not buying it a 3rd time if you, for some reason, had to have it on multiple consoles. The extra $1 is for features you don't have on the Wii version. And if you need Save States and small screens so badly, it'd make sense to not have bought it on 3DS and just waited for Wii U.

It doesn't really make sense to have it on Wii, on 3DS, and upgrade. If you want it portable, play it on the 3DS. If you want to use the Miiverse, I'm pretty sure you can use it without the game (don't have a Wii U, so I don't honestly know).

-4? I thought this week was actually pretty good. Some solid releases and sales...

But I get it. The whole VC library from Wii isn't up yet. Nintendo is horrible and lazy.

I agree. Especially on the sales part. I don't think more games have been on sale on eShop across both systems ever before. I may get a Zen Pinball 2 table for Wii U and Fluidity for 3DS.

Legitimately surprised to see more than two VC games at once... too bad they're both NES games... I'm keeping NES games as 3DS download material.
