EoD - Wii U holiday

Wii U VC about to get a handful of 16-bit titles

Coming from Capcom's Brelston...

Many of the listed games (and others) are indeed coming, but we're working with Nintendo on the actual release dates and other details. We should have an official release schedule soon - but yes, Wii U is about to get a dose of 16-bit Capcom love :)

Looks like Capcom is really looking to support the Wii U VC. Can't wait to see what comes our way! Thanks to Connor for the heads up.

Prepare yourself for a slew of Street Fighter II, every edition known to man.

I hope they get some Final Fight games released sooner than later. I love beat em ups and I need a few to hold me over until Dragon's Crown is released.

How about putting a library of SNES titles on the 3DS Virtual Console please.

They ARE developing new games... Besides, they have the right to rerelease older games if they choose to.

SNES games would be too cramped IMO on the 3DS. Also, that would make the wii U VC have no systems exclusive to it, so it's a good idea they only do SNES on wii U VC

Yeah, all three of them, which isn't that many.

Street Fighter and Final Fight are already well-represented on Wii VC.

How about Breath of Fire 1, Mega Man X3, and Knights of the Round?

BOF1 is Square's game, so that probably won't happen... Maybe BOF3 and the others though!

Oh ho ho. You have no idea. Take a look sometime at how many versions of Street Fighter II are on Wii Virtual Console. It's quite a bit more than three.

They should release Aladdin.

One of those better be Mega Man 7... That game needs to be played by more people. In my opinion, this should have been the last game in the series. (I like 8, 9 and 10... but I think at least storywise, 7 should have been our 10.)

I don't think it's possible due to the SNES resolution that would be reduced in order to suit the 1st screen.

Can we have 60 HTZ gameS for PAL land? Can we have the Sega CD or the arcade version of Final Fight please? What about the arcade editions for Street Fighter 2? And the arcade edition with a 2 players mode for your arcade games (i just can't believe i have to ask for that in 2013!)? If you can't give all that too us, hackers will and that's so sad!

They've taken real on-again-off-again approaches on Nintendo systems. Then again they've sorta taken the those same approaches on other consoles...

Oh but there is a catch, the wii U only has SNES games... Meaning they can only release the three SNES games (Four including SFA2).
