Star Wars: Battlefront 3 was in the works for Wii
While we won't get to see Star Wars: Battlefront 3 as it was intended (or possibly ever, for that matter), a developer has confirmed that a version for the Wii was in the works. This information comes from the dev himself, who's doing an AMA on Reddit.
It's a small thing, but the controls on the Wii were fantastic. Blasting someone with your Wiimote was up there in the list of cool. ...It obviously wasn't HD and the graphics weren't there compared to the rest but it was the gameplay on the Wii that really made it.
I don't know what hurts more...the fact that the entire game was cancelled or the fact that a third party was working on a big-name Wii game that never saw the light of day.
