Still no word on Injustice: Gods Among Us DLC hitting Wii U

Let's wait to see if the devs or Warner Bros. comment on poor sales of the Wii U version as evidence of third party titles not selling on Nintendo platforms. Then I'd be just a tad upset. Thanks to Marcel for the heads up!

You know, after the Rayman Legends kerfuffle I never thought I'd say this, but Ubisoft is starting to look like the best, major third party out there for the Wii U.

I hope WB gets sued by the Nyan Cat creator at this point

Man this suck... Black Ops 2 anybody?

Maybe game owners should start a pension or even sue Nintendo and or Warner Bros. for false advertisement!

If they try to pull the low-sales card as the reason for no DLC I will be furious, how can you expect a fighter to stand a chance on the U if you haven't given it online feature parity?

Its funny I just got Injustice for $35 at TRU and the only reason it isn't open is because of this DLC thing. To be actually care that much about the DLC especially that I know the characters. I have zero interest in Zod and negative interest in Scorpion. Most of the skins are kind of pointless too. Its just upsetting that while Ubisoft provides all DLC Netherealm doesn't. I mean there is no excuse for the costumes, they're just skins. At least black ops are full maps and modes. I'm going we get at least some of the DLC. For me I would just need Batgirl, Lobo, Flashpoint skins and Arkham skins to be faux. People who paid the same price as others shouldn't be denied DLC.

I really don't like that "non-answer". It make it sounds like they will do it, but are just not announcing it now. BUT WHY? Why would they hold on the announcement!? That doesn't make any sense!

No DLC available? That's Injustice.

I can see why my friend who is a BIG netherrealms studios fan switched to the PS3 version because he told me he pre-ordered the Wii U version first but as soon as he heard about the lack of private matches, lack of DLC news for Wii U and just the lack of Warner bros not talking about the Wii U version at all he switched to the PS3 version and he was glad to do that since he wanted to play as the new DLC characters as well

I really hope Warner bros / netherrealms studios learns a lesson here, they need to stop treating the Wii U like it's the Nintendo Wii all over again :(

it's funny that the Wii U Version has faster framerate than the X360/PS3 versions yet they can't bother to add DLC news/Private matches/etc

I just wish developers would just admit they hate the Wii U, I'm sick and tired of all this crap!

PR. It would kill more sales if they admitted they won't deliver the DLC.

Welp. This'll be the last NRS / Warner Bros game I purchase, then.

"We have not made any DLC announcements for Wii U."

Except you did. Through Nintendo Direct. Or was THAT a lie, too?

*sighs* Guess I'll be trading-in my Wii U copy and getting the "proper" 360 version then...

If we never get the DLC or more importantly, the patch to fix our unjustifiably broken game, I regret looking forward to this game. Here's something people may not know: with every new DLC character the game will get rebalanced (Hopefully in attempt to prevent over frequent balancing). Which is quite important a it adds a sense of life, new discoveries, and adventures. They would never do this to X360 or PS3 fanbase.

That was solely Nintendo talking/lying out their ass, in NR's defense they never once confirmed dlc.

I am pissed though, I won't keep supporting Nintendo if they can't deliver the goods. At this point Nintendo needs to be throwing w/e money is necessary at NR to get the dlc they promised without a contract or even a written statement in place. But they won't. After all, DLC is only OK when you are paying $3 or more for a 9 min Fire Emblem map, right Nintendo? :?

And as for NR, what logic let's them port over the whole game but suddenly the dlc is too much risk/work (dlc that I know for a FACT was over 75% complete before the game ever went gold)? WTF are you doing? The WiiU version should have been $40 at launch. Now I have to fight my ass off for a refund to wait for the complete edition to hit PS3.

I love how some of you are blaming Nintendo for this. The developers and publishers make these decisions and not Nintendo. And for some reason, they are gimping their own games on the Wii U platform. I don't know if there is some sort of industry wide conspiracy or what , but a lot of people seem to be out for blood when it comes to nintendo and it has me scratching my head.

In any case, what is important here is that everyone across all platforms paid the same price, and thus should expect the same experience, dlc etc. If they were going to skip out on the extras, then they should have offered the Wii U version at a discount.

I have to say many here are wrong <_<...@toupee43 is right.

1.Nintendo will say what the publisher in this case WB said to them at their meeting for this project to us, and remember this was done before the game hit retail so to the best of their knowledge the DLC was there since WB said it would be.

2. NR could have or not made DLC for the Wii U edition, it is not their decision if it goes or not...it is the publishers decision since it is their money being invested on this game and they want to maximize the revenue gained even if something like this happens to us...after all they figure Nintendo fans will settle for much if not crumbs of the bigger pie since such practices took place with the Wii in the last generation and no one made a fuzz about it.

3. Nintendo is not in a position to demand much since they want and need the support, so think of them as being hostage to its friends and tortured if it tries to not comply with their demands...I mean request.

The deal is that it is us the consumer that can demand action. Nintendo can see we are upset but trying any action against a major 3rd Party will alienate others from working with them.

If we want something someone can start an internet petition since they are all the rage now a days. They don't involve a lot of work but they surely get result fast from major companies if they gather the attention of the public and media alike. So if anyone want's action on this Injustice as @Elfteiroh put it, make a petition and get what you deserve from a game you paid full retail value like the other consumer for their respective consoles did yet you got cheated by they Publisher and not the developer and console manufacturer as many of you seem to blame for this.

Do the right thing, make a petition demanding the DLC to Warner Brothers and watch them do it so no bad press goes their way because unlike the NianCat issue this is something that can be done yet they feel like they can milk us like they did during the Wii years last generation.

Nintendo made the promise. SimpleI am irritated at the devas but they you never promised the content. it looks like it was a pretty seriously lie from Nintendoto boost cells of the Wii U version so that people like me wouldn't buy on ps3 instead.

Nintendo made the promise they need to do whatever it takes to fix it end of story

Don't freak out and act all irrational. Nintendo most certainly did not lie. Hell, the back of the box for the Wii u version seems to indicate that this shovel would be available. And in no way did the publisher or dev dispute what Nintendo said. So, I doubt Nintendo Lied. And that's beside the point - The game costs the same on all consoles and all consoles are similarly capable. So, why should I pay the same for a game that is inferior for no apparent technical reason? That is what you should be upset over - paying the same as everyone else, but getting less.

Nintendo made a promise they aren't keeping and should be taking steps to fix it. They lied. Whether some WB intern mentioned WiiU dlc in passing to someone at Nintendo, I don't know, but there was never a formal agreement.

Otherwise you are right. WB/NR should have stepped up anf corrected Nintendo and the game should have been sold at a discount. There is plenty of blame to go around in my book.

You guys are posting your complaints on Warner Bros and Netherrealm Facebook or Twitter right?
Cause you won't be heard here and if they can't hear you they can't response... besides then they have no excuse! :)
