Nintendo out to end/alter 'Let's Play' videos featuring Nintendo games?

This would be some really sad news if true, but I've been hearing it from numerous sources. Apparently Nintendo has contacted quite a large number of people that put together 'Let's Play' video features of Nintendo games on YouTube. It's unclear if Nintendo wants these features to stop completely, because I've heard some sources state that there was an issue with the video length, rather than content.
Either Nintendo is looking to keep these videos 10 minutes in length at most, or they want to squash them completely. We've reached out to Nintendo for comment. Thanks to all that sent this info in!
