Fire Emblem: Awakening - Europe gets Tharja uncensored

The same DLC that hit the states a couple weeks back is now available in Europe. There's a difference this time around. Tharja's butt is completely uncensored, just as it was in the Japanese version. I guess North America just can't handle butts! Thanks to JCC for the heads up.

The NA one is still dirtier.

They inadvertently made it worse with the way they've censored it for North America. I can't say I care either way. If I was gonna have a problem it would be that Fire Emblem went the 'swimsuit/beach episode' route at all. I've hated every example I've ever seen, but Avatar the Last Airbender has yet to be topped. It reigns supreme as the king of terrible beach episodes.

lol Censor dialogue, don't censor image. And then it's backwards for North America...

With so much coverage (lol) that Tharja gets, I have a funny feeling she will get featured in Smash somehow.

For what it's worth, "bits" has this connotation that could be used for referring to genitalia in Europe, where as that's not quite the case in the Americas. The Nowi/Tharja dialogue in Summer Scramble most likely got altered because of that.

That would be incredible. We also need Anna. She's in every single game, so why not? I think she's recognizable enough.

@Windsor
What? The Ember Island one? That had SO much character development. That made up for the fan service.

Bar Gaiden, yeah.

I honestly think she isn't that recognizable as one would typically believe, though.

@LegendofSantiago
Came here to say this. They probably realized the "censored" version was more risqué while you are able to clearly see she is in a bikini with this version.

Well Europe in general is WAY less prudish than the States, so this seems about right.

That said, this DLC is really dumb.

Oh man, I'm seriously gonna miss that ._.

I don't understand why it's acceptable to have guns all over the place, shooting people, blowing people up, etc, but a butt in a bathing suit needs censored.

@Koopzilla

One good reason being that people are disconnected from violence (i.e. don't take it seriously), but sexuality on the other hand, has a real effect on people.

In fact it's this stuff as well as the dialogue that is keeping me away. I really wanted Zero Escape too until I found out about a certain part of the game.
