How Microsoft, Sony and Nintendo present their consoles

Microsoft, Sony and Nintendo are all active in the gaming industry. Microsoft and Sony have their hands in a lot of different things, but Nintendo is focused completely on the game industry. When it comes time for these big-name companies to put out a new console, what sort of wording do they use? Do they trumpet their hardware proudly as a gaming platform, or do they try and woo fringe consumers by touting the other aspects of their platforms?
