Rising Star to release Hakuoki: Memories of the Shinsengumi in Europe

30th July, 2013 – Rising Star Games, a leading publisher of interactive entertainment, today announces a renewed partnership with renowned Japanese developer IDEA FACTORY Co. Through this partnership, Rising Star Games will bring two outstanding titles to PAL territories; Hakuoki: Memories of the Shinsengumi for Nintendo 3DS and another to be announced in the near future.

IDEA FACTORY games are known for their complexity and difficulty, and this combination of its unique take on game development and Rising Star Games’ mantra of bringing top quality Japanese gaming to western markets maintains the brand faithfulness of both companies. The first title to be released in this deal is Hakuoki: Memories of the Shinsengumi, a romantic visual novel for the Nintendo 3DS. By enjoying the story and following a clever twist of consequences, players will be able to help guide Chizuru, the heroine of the tale, down a path of romance or into a murky world of corruption.
