Smash Wii U review

Adventure Time rev

Looks like GameStop's Xenoblade Chronicles restocking is indeed a reprint

The original case has the Wii logo inside, while these new cases have the Nintendo logo. Certainly looks like this is a reprint! Thanks to Collin for the heads up!

A reprint shouldn't be sold as used for $90 dollars.

How can Nintendo allow this?

I just sent an email to nintendo about this, I asked if they could sell some copies on their website. It probably won't work but maybe if enough of us emailed to complain it might make a difference

Used copies are not reprints. Reprints are new and cost the original cost. The reason they have new cases is because most of the used games they sell come with no cases. This is just GameStop at its worst.

Nintendo could have put the discs into Wii U cases to prevent shady stuff like this. I would buy one for my shelf to support Monolith :)

Doesn't matter what the case looks like - what's the fine print serial number on the back of the discs?

I think the title is misleading, just because the case is different doesn't mean there is a reprint. Gamestop doesnt always sell used games in their original case

I don' think it's a reprint - (Ive never used Gamestop so I could be wrong here) How would GameStop get brand new stock over anyone else? If there was a reprint wouldn't other retailers have stock? (that's how it'd work here)

I reckon they've been stockpiling these after they had that trade in bonus on XC a while ago. They spotted the demand and now have marked them up and are making a killing.

Xenoblade is a Gamestop exclusive in the US.

Bah, the game is extremely overrated anyway. I got it for christmas when it was $70 for a newly sealed copy and it was a MASSIVE disappointment. Terrible auto battle combat, arts don't help much, and level grinding a ton is not encouraged (Makes the game too easy). X seems to be better though, with more gameplay options, better music and a multiplayer mode.

And $90 for this game? That's a ripoff in itself. I wouldn't even want a better game like Pokemon mystery dungeon or the last story that high. Shows how some ebay resellers like to get more money from overhyped games.

Doing a quick search it shows all 8 gamestops near me have "low stock" on this. When I checked for this game a month ago the closest place that had ONE copy was over 50 miles away. So I am pretty sure this IS a reprint and Gamestop is being SUPER slimey. Also while this one case could be returned in a different case it's unlikely. Having work at Gamestop in the past they use generic cases for games returned without a case, if they give it a case at all.

I'm glad to see it available but I don't like this at all. Gamestop is playing dirty.
