The guy who turned Nintendo from a playing card company to the business we all know and love is no longer with us. Hiroshi Yamauchi has passed away this morning, shocking the industry to its core. Yamauchi was president of Nintendo for roughly more than 50 years and through his many years of wisdom, we came into a modern era of games. He was responsible for the Famicom and overseeing every system until the GameCube came into play. After the struggles with that system, he stepped down and remained in an advisory role until today. His legacy will outlive him and maybe all of us and we will never forget the impact Yamauchi has made.
