Donkey Kong (Nintendo, NES VC) - €4.99/£4.49
Donkey Kong not only launched the career of Mario, when he was known simply as Jumpman, but also of the eponymous ape who went on to become a hero himself. It also laid the foundation for the 'platform' genre - still going strong to this day. This NES version of the arcade classic was a launch title for the console and is one of the most faithful adaptations of the original. Rescue the kidnapped Pauline from DK's clutches, negotiating increasingly tricky obstacles and knock that pesky primate off his perch!

The Legend of Zelda: The Misadventures of Link - Episode 1: Tunnel Vision (Nintendo) - Free on Nintendo Video
This original series of comedic shorts shows Link, the series' star, in a new and humourous light. His surroundings will be familiar to fans of the series, since the shorts are based on The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD game for the Wii U console. Tunnel Vision is the first episode in the series, with further episodes released in future weeks.
