I'm looking forward to seeing the one game EA publishes on the Wii U this year. But even that is seemingly a daydream...

"We love Nintendo, we just have no intention of making games for them anytime soon." - EA

Yeah anonymous sources are always hard to listen to. Even so, EA's support has been pretty light (and it was odd for them to only release Mass Effect 3 on the Wii U when the other platforms got a trilogy collection [even the PS3 which previously didn't have ME1, meaning the old excuse that Microsoft still has ownership of ME1 is no longer the case]).

I sense damage control.

Dreamcast fan here, don't trust Peter Moore. He's a bonafide liar.

On the one hand, this does cast the anonymous quote into doubt.

On the other hand, it's not like he'd admit that said quote was true, now would he?

I am happy to hear him say this, but I do wish that they would show this more with their actions then their words.

It would be a risk for them, but they could release various trilogies from last gen on Wii U as trilogy packs for like $39.99.

It could almost be like an 'If you missed it last gen' series kind of thing.
Crysis (1-3), Dead Space (1-3), Dragon Age (Origins, Awakening, 2), Mass Effect (1-3).

Between that and putting the sports games the Wii U would have a much more robust library and hopefully push some units.

I dunno I can dream.

So their definition of partner is not releasing games on Wii U for a whole year now? I'm curious as to what they'd consider a bad partner.

Officially how many games have they got planned for Nintendo systems in 2014? Will be surprised if they show any for Wii U at E3 or at all this year.

This here show the difference between PR talk and the actual opinions od the guys working there. The anonymous source actually only said what a lot of other not necessarily anonymous EA employee said before... and I think those shows better what kind of corporate mindset there is... one of the reason I NEVER want to work there. :/ The only ones sounding like swell guys are the ones that worked on NFS on WiiU.

"Don’t trust "anonymous sources". Nintendo's a great partner. They never have been, and never will be, ‘dead’ to EA... We just like to pretend Nintendo's dead"

Why don't they lower NFS' Most Wanted's price on the eShop...I would definitely buy it at 25! I have no racing game atm...so I could use one on Wii U. (But I'm not really that much of a fan and I don't like supporting companies like EA so I don't want it at full price)
Sales can work wonders! The game isn't selling that much anyway so not really anything to lose...

@Devil_Rising That damage control, eh?

That said, their sports games aside, I think EA's importance to the gaming industry is grossly overrated, tbh.

More like EA pretends to be dead whenever Nintendo comes around.

I do the same thing with telemarketers.

Why does he expect us to believe him when it's clear as day that they don't have a good partnership?

Hahaha, or could be that too.

Yeah, sorry EA, but whatever your definition of "great partner" is apparently doesn't require doing a lot.

Buy it, the team behind that game are probably the only one not being mostly douchey dudes from what I have seen, so it's okay to support THEM...

Thank you Moore. But your great partner (and UNPRECEDENT PARTNERSHIP) is (clearly) in another company.
