GoNintendo 'End of Day' thought - Do most game outlets ignore Nintendo?

Headache ALLLLLLLLLLLL day! Man, just can't seem to shake it. I hope some rest manages to do the trick. If not, I'll just have to whine about it tomorrow! Hope you all are headache-free and doing well. See you in a few, short hours.

There is a ton going on in the game industry. It's always been hard to keep up with the latest news with video games, and things have only gotten more busy in recent years. The internet certainly helps to keep us more informed than we were in the magazine days, but even the worldwide web can't stay 100% on-top of every bit of news out there.

Obviously, I try to do my best with covering any/all Nintendo news out there. I think that's kind of important when I run a Nintendo-related site! Through messageboards, other sites, tip emails, Twitter, Facebook and more, there's an insane amount to keep track of. I do what I can with 100% conviction every day, and I can only hope that you enjoy it.

When it comes to other sites that are multiplatform, the coverage can be even harder to pin down. Just think about all the platforms out there to cover! You have the traditional platforms, phones, tablets, Facebook and more. So many games and details coming from every which way, it can make your head spin. I'm sure most outlets do the best they can, but do you think there's a bit of a bias out there when it comes to Nintendo?

I'm making comment on this based on what I hear from you guys. I often reader emails and tweets about the lack of Nintendo coverage from major outlets. Many of you think the lion's share of attention goes to Microsoft and Sony, with Nintendo mostly ignored when it doesn't involve big-name franchises. Are outlets stretched to their limits and simply unable to cover Nintendo as they'd like, or is it a case of outlets not putting aside their own lack of interest in favor of reporting the news?

Again, like I said, I bring this up because of the comments from you guys and gals. I'd love to hear more from you on this. Do you feel that the situation mentioned above is indeed happening, or is our own hyper-vigilance with Nintendo games causing us to think that other outlets don't do the company justice with coverage?
