Europe - In shops and on Nintendo eShop now: SUPER MARIO 3D WORLD

Join Mario, Luigi, Princess Peach and Toad as they travel to the Sprixie Kingdom to thwart another of Bowser’s plans in SUPER MARIO 3D WORLD, launching across Europe today on Wii U. With over 80 all-new courses bursting with imagination, plenty of new power-ups, inventive Wii U GamePad uses and multiplayer for up to four players, there’s loads to discover in the first 3D Mario adventure on Wii U!

When a panicked Sprixie Princess appears in the Mushroom Kingdom and reveals that Bowser has been capturing her kinsfolk, Mario and his friends dive down a Clear Pipe and find themselves in the Sprixie Kingdom. There they discover tons of unfamiliar objects: grab a Super Bell to transform into the adorable Cat Mario, clone your character with a Double Cherry, and much more, all to a lively big band soundtrack!

For the first time in a 3D Mario platform game, four players can co-operate simultaneously – or compete with one another for the high score on each course! Choose between four characters before each course and find the play style to suit you. Mario is the good all-rounder, Luigi leaps highest, Toad can dash faster than the others, and when you feel the need to glide through the air, pick Princess Peach!

Expose hidden secrets by tapping, tilting and blowing on the Wii U GamePad! Nintendo Network features are also integrated; seek out Stamps, tucked away in each course, and then use them to decorate your Miiverse posts with artwork of Mario’s friends and enemies. Other players’ Ghost Mii characters can appear in your game to race you to the Goal Pole, too – catch one and you might snag a helpful item!
