The Legend of Zelda: Tri Force Heroes - a new round of gameplay details

GN Version 5.0

- each dungeon is into four main sections
- demo contained a Forest stage
- request a totem from other players by sending out a 'Totem up' message
- use a totem to reach a key floating from a balloon
- walk up to a fellow Link and press 'A', to hoist them up on your shoulders
- step on Triforce-shaped portals to get deeper into a dungeon
- another portion involves activating three different switches on high pillars, all being guarded by enemies and holes
- switches snap shut if you get too close, meaning you have to hit them from a distance
- Forest dungeon boss is a giant electrified ChuChu
- the boss attacks by sending steady streams of electricity out from four sides
- Totem up to hit the enemy's weak point, which gets higher and higher during battle
- 8 different messages can be sent to other players, including "Over here!" and "Throw!" to "Carry me!" and "Thumbs up!"
- cheerleading Link 'emoticon' can be used to celebrate a victory
- rapidly tapping this icon animates it
- later levels have each Link in charge of different items (boomerangs, bombs, etc.)
