GoNintendo 'End of Day' thought - The E3 dust has settled

Rough day here, my friends. Mom is in the hospital. She's doing fine right now, but has to stay overnight for tests to see what's up. Sorry if I seemed a little scatterbrained today. My mind was elsewhere for a few hours. Now that I know she's in a good place and has docs looking after her, I can at least relax a bit. I'll certainly keep you posted from here on out. See you in a few, short hours.

Yes, there will still be some outlets sharing snippets from E3 coverage. Yes, we'll make sure we're on-top of all that goodness. With that said, we do recognize that E3 2015 has come and gone. A lot of us game fans look forward to E3 all year long, spending many a day building up hype levels to a point that they can never be met. We crest the top of the rollercoaster and then try to enjoy the ride right down the other side. For some people, Nintendo's E3 gave them that feeling in their stomach that only a mega rollercoaster can.

To say that people were upset with Nintendo's E3 this year would be a bit of an understatement. I can't remember the last time I saw this much anger stemming from a Nintendo event. I actually can't remember ever seeing anything like this aimed at Nintendo. There have been plenty of times where fans felt burnt by the big N, but this time around it seems like emotions really let loose. When you hype up the biggest gaming event of the year and don't get the content you want, it can quickly turn excitement into rage.

Hell, I didn't even think this year's E3 was all that bad for Nintendo! It definitely wasn't one of their better shows, but it wasn't one of their worst. There have been other E3 events from Nintendo that I felt really didn't get a good message across. The Wii Music press conference sticks out in my mind. But again, this is just my opinion. I felt that this year's show was neither high nor low. It just kind of...existed. It had some nice things, but no big wow moments. I also didn't see anything that angered up my blood.

Now that we've had a few days to kick back from the E3 madness, I thought I'd check in to see how everyone is doing. Are you feeling any different now from how you were feeling a few days back? Did you go from bad to good, good to bad or bad to worse?! Leave us a comment and let us know.
