- use amiibo to create some of them
- battle cards are cards you use in battle to damage/weaken enemies, heal yourself, and more
- to use a battle card, you need to have enough star points
- use up to three cards at once, but you will need the necessary amount of star points to do so
- you can use the cards as many times as you want
- make a set of 10 cards to use in battle.
- besides making cards with amiibo, you can also buy them in a shop, defeat enemies for them or get them as rewards
- amiibo-created battle cards will be more powerful than the regular ones
- a total of 100 possible designs
- scan two different amiibo together (such as Luigi and Mario) to create a Pair Card
- scan two amiibo of the same character (such as Mario) to create a Foil Card
- compatible with all versions of the following amiibo:

Mario
Luigi
Peach
Yoshi
Bowser
Toad
