Well, Rawmeat, Kirbutashi, and whoever else contributed to some of the great Go Nintendo banners, I want to thank you. No offense, but I was getting tired of the old Mario one. I think you should either put more characters in the regular banner, or just have like five different banners and a random one pops up each time.

I'm not going to argue as to the level of malice in DevilsRejection's statement, but I am going to agree on his take. When I took a gander at the image that's exactly what crossed my mind. Mayhaps you could redo the logo so it looks more professional, and more in tune with the original GoNintendo logo. Also, you can try and pick a different part of the cave so that the stalagmite isn't so pronounced. You could try to ammend it via some effects. In addition, the gun is very low quality. Try to find a different source file.

That was awesome Ku (your nick is quite funny for me, since in norwegian it means, perhaps I shouldn't tell you here, I could send you a pm where I tell it ) I'm not sure if it suposed to look like it, or it is my crappy laptop screen, but it looks like everything is scanned from a magasine, even the gonintendo logo, a nice little touch I think

Could someone make a banner for me? It would be for my gamespot page. I think the resolution for the banners is 760x140.

When it comes to appearance I want it to look like the gamespace banners on Gamespot or like the show banners at TV.com, also have my screen name in it (Zukunft23).

You can check here for people subitting banners for tv.com and other sites to get a feel of what I want.


And the theme for the banner? What else? Back to the future. I'll let you do anything you want when it comes you colors and pics just as long as my s/n is in it so it can be used at Gamespot.

If you want to see what the gamespace banners at gamespot look like, just search for a game, here's a couple of examples...

Also check here for TV show banners. Notice how the text is is not graphical so it stands out more? Also In most of the banners it starts off black then fades into the image and the text overlaps into the image sometimes as well. I would like that if you can do that. Have my screen name in the black (probably one third of the banner) area so it stands out then the rest can be BTTF.

And maybe not use an image of a model Delorean?

anyway to everyone: i merged eraze's wallpaper thread with this one, and retitled it more apropriately. if anyone else has general nintendo or gonintendo related images you'd like to submit, by all means do so, and now you can place them all in this thread!

going forward though, i insist that anyone posting large images (wider than 500px) must use either a thumbnail, as eraze has done, or use a text link to your image. this is essential not only to our site's layout, but also just plain polite for users with smaller screens or on dialup. this policy will be amended to the board rules, and strictly enforced.

thanks man! i only have a tiny fraction up, and many of them aren't even my favourites. i should really get on that. in fact, one or two of the pages are from when i was about 10 years old; perhaps i should notate that, so people aren't confused by the real level of my ability when i get some free time, i'll have to update my drawings a bit.. i have literally THOUSANDS here, and a few hundred iv'e done just at work for projects we've worked on.

anyway, here's one that's been sitting in the archive awhile and has never been shown before to anyone. it was intended to be a 'boot panel'--the thing Mac OS X users see when the computer is starting up (which is pretty rare, come to think of it). unfortunately, the latest version of osx doesn't really allow them, so it sits unused, collecting dust... just something i whipped up quick one afternoon. and it's not a drawing, i know.. but enjoy anyway!
