Anyone wanna debate games?

So I'm looking for anyone interested in debating Gaming Industry Topics with. I've had an idea of doing a weekly thing of taking a subject and just debating over it, sharing opinions on it. It'll be text based so just need a keyboard lol. So anyone interested?

Do video games, as a medium, have the potential to surpass other forms of art in emotional engagement? How can they increase your emotional engagement more than what they have now? Is there any games that have gripped you emotionally more than other forms of media or entertainment? (these can be answered individually or as a whole)

I just finished the Walking Dead game by Telltale and emotionally it made me feel more than most movies I've watched recently, especially the ending. I teared up completely. It's story is engaging, and the characters are believable and so well voice acted that it doesn't matter that it was a game.

If you haven't tried it I'd really recommend it.

So I say yes! More games are needed that emphasise story/plot and well rounded characters over graphics. Heavy Rain was another good attempt to try and do this.
