What happens when you receive 3 or more warnings?

I currently have a level 2 warning. Is there something that happens when you receive 3, like a ban of some sort? And what can I do to prevent it (since I already know it'll happen somehow)?

it means you have received 2 warnings, not an rpg type system where you progressively level up.

the only way to avoid it is to watch yourself. follow the rules, and don't be a dick to other people... that'll pretty much go the distance.

as for what happens after 3? just like baseball, three strikes and youre out. typically it's a ban of some sort.. might be permanent, might not, depending on how you earn it. though don't feel bad. some people strike out with just one.

A ban's length depends on a few factors.

#1 - The time it took you to allocate the # of warnings you received. It might take hours, maybe weeks. The shorter the time period, the harsher the penalty.
#2 - The type of warnings you received. A consistent track record of warnings will usually lead to a harsher penalty than someone who has received warnings for different things.
#3 - Advertising is the equivalent of you throwing a TAINT in the NFL. Automatic ban. If you're a consistent contributor to the community and are an idiot for one post, we may be kind and not make it permanent. Emphasis on MAY.
#4 - Hate Speech is basically a 'Get off my lawn, I'm calling the cops' but since we're the Cops around here, you're already in the paddy wagon.
#5 - The 2nd ban will almost always be permanent.

But thanks to my...er...OUR constant vigilance of the community, bans and warnings have come to a crawl. I pat myself...er...US on the back for a job well done.
