<< mod edit: topic moved from 'legacy systems' to 'random discussion' as the legacy section is intended for nintendo-released products of yesteryear. if in the future a 'NoNintendo systems' section is created, this could go there. thanks! >>

ps... anyone think $83 is a bit much for a system that's 6 years old? one can occasionally find a dreamcast WITH an 'x' number of games for 10$ US on ebay (though i've seen gamecubes with a game or two for 10$ as well!)?

I have a dreamcast. I just hope they start releasing new games in the U.S.

Don't exactly call it a come back. Dreamcast games have never fully gone out of production in Japan. Nice to see the hardware get a brief rerelease.

I bet Sega could sell the SDK for the Dreamcast @ $50 a pop and make millions. The DC was an incredibly capable, if ill-timed, gaming platform. And being that you could burn games to regular CD-R (Thanks, Windows CE) you'd have one of the most accessible and capable platforms for homebrew programming ever.

Maybe if I let them know this they'll give me a Marketing job. Heh.
