Megaman Zero (series)
Minish Cap
Metroid Zero Mission
Metroid Fusion
Megaman and Bass
Pokemon Ruby
Golden Sun
Castlevania: Aria, Harmony, and Circle

Thos are probably my personal faves. (I had too much trouble narrowing it down any further, sorry)
Gravity Man is the coolest Robot Master on the planet. Trufax.

Rhythm Tengoku
Sound Voyager
Drill Dozer

Those 3 were the biggest surprises for me in terms of quality.

Of course, the system had some great games that were obviously going to be amazing:
Minish Cap
Mario vs Donkey Kong
Metroid Fusion
Metroid Zero Mission

I'm just saddened that there wasn't a real Mario game for the system.

It may be a re-release, but Super Mario Advance 2 blew my salmonella-addled mind away when I recieved it in hospital. Pokemon Sapphire, Boktai and the glorious Final Fantasy Tactics Advance all deserve a mention.

I seem to remember enjoying the Adventures of Jackie Chan and Advance Guardian Heroes quite a bit too.

*edit* CRAP. How could I forget ZOE: Fist of Mars?

My most memorable moment with the GBA was with the Golden Sun games. While the first game was good, it was the sequel that had me gripped that I just couldn't put the game down until I finally beat the game.

I think my favourite GBA game may have been Tales Of Phantasia. It just instantly hooked me after I read a review of it in ONM (UK Nintendo magazine) and I've been a Tales of fan ever since. Just a shame Europe usually gets shafted when it comes to that series.

Other notable mentions are:
Legend of Zelda Minish Cap
Harvest Moon Friends of Mineral Town
Mario & Luigi Superstar Saga
Final Fantasy VI

This is an odd topic for me, because I've never personally owned a GBA. I own a DS, and owned a Game Boy back in the day. But during the GBA era, I just didn't have the money to buy myself one, and had a lot of other things besides gaming going on.

But that doesn't stop me from still having some favorites:

Super Mario Advance (great remake of SMB2)
Castlevania: Harmony of Dissonance
Metroid: Zero Mission
Metroid Fusion
Double Dragon Advance
Final Fight One
Mario Kart: Super Circuit
Kirby: Nightmare in Dreamland

off the top of my head.

all the Super Mario Advance games

Tales of Phantasia

Uhm. Seeing a disturbing lack of Mother 3, considering that's the best RPG on the system, if not one of the best RPGs ever.

Golden Sun 1 & 2
Mother 3
Zelda: Four Swords & Minish Cap
Fire Emblems
Mario & Luigi
Sonic Advance 1 & 2
Megaman Battle Network 1 & 2
Metroid Fusion & Zero Mission
Megaman Zero
Pokemon R/S/E
Pokemon FR/LG
Megaman Zeros

Zelda Minish Cap & Drill Dozer with the built in rumble pack were my two favourite games on the GBA. Playing Drill Dozer on the GBA Micro rocked as the small scale of the system made the rumble element a seriously immersive component of the gameplay.

I didn't have many GBA games since I was too young to have a job back then, but of the ones I DID have, here are the ones that I had lots of fun with:
-Pokemon Ruby
-Pokemon Firered
-Harvest Moon: Friends of Mineral Town
-Sonic Advance 2
-Super Mario Advance 3: Yoshi's Island
-Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories

All awesome games that will hold a place in my heart forever. Also, my friend had Fire Emblem games and I remember hiding in the girls' changeroom back in the eighth grade, watching her play during gym class instead of getting hit with basketballs. It was the best. And now I have Sacred Stones on my 3DS! Need to play more.

Definitely Wario Land 4. I mean, the Mario Advance series and Mario and Luigi Superstar Saga came close, but I've always had a soft spot for Wario Land 4. Probably because of how much charm and character it had, how every level/boss/resource used was entirely unique and how great things like the music and graphics were.

I can still pretty much remember the Crescent Moon Village theme even now.

Mario and Luigi Superstar Saga is another one. I don't know what it is about this game, but I've always found it kind of nostalgic. I remember how I played the game before the official reviews were in and how I ended up playing the adventure twice because I accidentally deleted my save file. But it had a lot of charm, like the quirky art style which wasn't really present in the 3DS sequels. Not to mention it was actually sort of open world and let you walk around the Beanbean Kingdom and explore various areas and find secrets, something sorely lacking in its successors. It also felt like a lengthy adventure due to all the plot twists and turns, which is cool.

Mario & Luigi Superstar Saga. I spent a lot of hours on this game, trying to find all those beans. Easily my favorite game in the Mario & Luigi series.

Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga (Just played it for the first time last year)
Kirby: Nightmare in Dream Land
Super Mario Advance
Super Mario World: Super Mario Advance 2
Yoshi's Island: Super Mario Advance 3
Pokémon Sapphire
Pokémon FireRed
Pokémon Emerald
Sonic Advance
Mario Party Advance (Despite not being a real Mario Party, I liked it)

And that's it, I didn't get to play many GBA games.

I didn't own a lot. Slowly trying to get more as I go, but they are all too expensive for boxless GBA games. Worth noting, I own NO Mario, Sonic OR Castlevania titles on GBA. Feels bad man. I was mostly getting Gamecube games.

I have to say:
- The Minish Cap
- Metroid Zero Mission
- Kirby Nightmare in Dreamland
- Four Swords
- Pokemon Sapphire/LeafGreen
- Golden Sun/The Lost Age
- Final Fantasy IV Advance

I really wish I owned more GBA games. D:

All good stuff mentioned here, though I'm really surprised nobody's mentioned the first two Advance Wars games. I've gotten many, many hours of play out of those.

Also, as honorable mentions, Top Gear Rally and Super Monkey Ball Jr. were surprisingly well-executed versions of 3D games for a system made for 2D, and quite good games in their own right.

Castlevania Circle of the Moon. I know the graphics are dark, but I still loved the game. My first GBA game reserved. When I worked at EB/GS I actually talked a customer out trading it in.
Otherwise, Advance Wars 1+2
Metroid 0 and Fusion
Fire Emblem:SS
Hell even Namco Musem, worth it's weight in gold.
Super Mario Kart:Super Circuit
FF4 Advance, the first FF game I played start to finish. Holds a special place in my heart.
My Top 10 1.LoZ:LttP,2.SimCity(SNES),3.SMB3,4.FF4,5.SH,6.HL2,7.Portal,8.RE4,9.SMG,10.YI
