Star Wars: The Force Unleashed might have had a, quoting myself, "mediocre" demo, but it seems to be doing quite well in other mediums. This weekend the book based on the video game (or the video game based on the book?) topped the NY Times bestsellers list, which included other stuff not related to video games therefore warrant no mention.
I don't know if this will translate to good game sales. Like I stated in my impressions (which can be found here), I can clearly see a good story that's worthy of a Star Wars setting, but I cannot see this as a "good" game in terms of the name it has to live up to. So, am I surprised that the book sales are good? No, it's a great story. Am I going to stop asking and answering my own questions? Perhaps. Am I going to link to my impressions of the Star Wars demo just one more time and then never mention them again?
No.
