Halo 3 Beta

The only way you could get it is if you bought crackdown. I actually bought crackdown to actually play it, unlike some people who bought it for the beta.... I was just wondering... who else is going to be at the beta?

I won't be. I planned on getting the beta, but I figured I'm not very excited for the online multiplayer. I'm looking more forward to the co-op, because the versus matches don't appeal to me as much (for the halo series anyway).

i bought my brother crackdown for his birthday, so i can play the beta. i'll also be on vacation during those 3 weeks, but playing fps games with random people isn't fun to me. especially competitively and especially with xbox live kids. maybe i'll try it a few times, get my ass kicked, and put it down till the real game comes out but that'll be the extent of it.

When I saw that leak footage i was soooo happy and now i cant wait even more!!!

I wish. I don't even have a 360 yet (waiting until all of the bugs are ironed out for certain).

One thing I've noticed from screen shots is that the game looks like Halo 2 tried to look (with better lighting and particle effects, of course). Kind of proves that we don't need super realism in every single game. There's a point where we can just say 'good enough'.

The graphics weren't too improved but heck they were fine to begin with...

The gameplay was awesome and the new weapons didn't unbalance anything so that was good

The levels were pretty good too (especially high ground)


I enjoyed it all around but I think people are making too big of judgments about the actual game, when its just the beta
