Anyone NOT Looking Forward to GTAIV?

I see and hear all of this hype about GTA IV and I simply find myself not being able to care less. The mindless violence and pretending to be a gangster going around killing people on mindless rampages again and again just doesn't appeal to me and it never has.

Please tell me that there's someone else that isn't looking forward to it. Please.

See, this is why either gamers should stop coming up with abbreviations for their game titles or game developers should stop naming their games with similar amount of words and/or words that begin with letters like other games...

I've never been able to get into the GTA series at all, so count me as someone else who simply doesn't care about GTA4. I was similarly non-enthused about Halo 3. Can't say the same, however, about MGS4...that game is going to be awesome.

i was bored with gta after the top down view. i played three for a while but you can only cocktail tanks for so long. never liked mgs or halo so not excited for those either. gears of war 2 could be interesting but also seems like more of the same. tired of shooters on the 360. guess its more n+ for me until sc4 and ninja gaiden 2.

I'm undecided. Too many games to catch up on along with new games coming out latter this year. That and working means it's going to be a busy summer, but most likely in a good way

I personally don't care that much either about GTAIV. I just can't wait for Fallout 3

I would care, but all this hype over it currently just makes me wonder once again why the GTA games were so hyped in the first place. I see gameplay footage of GTA4 and all I see is GTA3 with a higher polygon count and textures, while lacking many features that made San Andreas so great.

Also, the drunk driving mode seriously offends me and I'm not easily offended.

i really didnt care untill about a few days ago. i have never played a GTA game and i am giving this one a shot. ill be getting it for ps3 though. not to crazy bout my 360

Well, I'm also picking this game up today even though I don't really care much about it. My fiancee wants it, so I guess I'll give it a shot even though I've never been a fan of the series.

I'm getting it for the PS3 though, as there are very few quality games for that system and I feel like I need some games to justify buying the damn thing. Also, the PS3 version has less texture pop-in and runs a little smoother, supposedly.

I cannot really understand why people absolutely love this game. I picked it up, played about halfway through and the honeymoon was pretty much so over. It is not really my cup of tea. I do not dislike the game, but it really had way too much hype surrounding it.
