The one game you want remade/ported to the 3DS

You don't need to be a genius to know that the 3DS is being turned into a remake/port machine, which isn't good at all. But there must be ONE (and you can only choose one) game you really want to see on the 3DS.

I'll start off by saying metroid prime. That game just screams 3D and is (unfortunately) overlooked quite often. I know I'm gonna get a bit of stick for saying this but O would prefer a remake/port with 3D (good 3d) of metroid prime than a metroid 3DS game, I'd much rather see the next metroid on the wii U cos I personally haven't exactly liked many of the portable metroids.

If I only could pick one, it would definately be Final Fantasy VI. I thought for sure they would do it on DS after they remade IV. So hopefully they make it for 3DS.

Regarding Metroid, I'd prefer to see a remake of Super Metroid, but that's just me. While Prime would definitely be great in 3D, I'm not sure how much else Retro could improve the game on 3DS. With an older game, much more could be done to not only make good use of 3D but also bring it into the modern age.

But as for the game I'd like to see remade/ported the most, it'd have to be Donkey Kong 64. It's another gem from the N64 age that could not only benefit well from a visual update, but would also make for a great portable adventure, since its massive amount of content would keep players occupied for even the longest of plane/train/car rides.

Yeah i have alot of remakes i want to see
i want a remake/port of: paper mario64,pmttyd,zelda alttp,zelda tp,the original zelda ,ff6*,tales of symphonia 1(2 i just played recently so a remake can wait imo),sonic 1-3,sonic, &knuckles,mario&luigi one,pokemon r/s*,super mario brothers 3(bring back the ereader levels only make it so i can play all of them in the game normallly),tales of phantasia(use the scripit from the gba version and add some line for bonus areas),&zelda tmc Note that any of these being on eshop will be fine if they don't feel like remaking them except these *i'd rather have a remake then an eshop port now on to the non ports.

YES. I was thinking donkey kong 64 as soon as i read the topic title. THE most underrated game of all time.

I would love to see a remaster super metroid, but if other m is how nintendo is going to treat samus from here on out, I'd prefer they just left it alone.

aside from that, a remastered Eternal Darkness and Majora's Mask are at the top of my list.

however, I'd prefer they save those for HD remakes on the U. insanity effects on the wiipad? yes please.

The moment I saw Donkey Kong Country Returns, I thought it would be a great fit for the 3DS. The different levels of depth (foreground and background interaction) would be perfect in "3D".

So yep. DKC Returns, or a potential sequel.

And Luigi's Mansion is a great fit too. Creeping down the corridors with ghosts popping out at the screen would be great.

Also, why is it called 3D? Just because it pops out of the screen? That doesn't make it 3-dimensional. You can't see different sides of the image, it's just flat image, an illusion.

Links Awakening for sure. I loved Minish Cap and LA is more similar to MC than the DS Zeldas but I just can't appreciate it now. A complete remake, still top down, would be awesome imo.

Donkey Kong 64 is a must for me, though it was already mentioned in the topic. It's one of my all time favorites and a very sorely missed title from the current Wii VC.

I'd also love to see Elite Beat Agents and Drill Dozer. Not so much remakes, but sequels. Those are two fantastic Nintendo handheld titles that have been very underrated and unappreciated since their release.

Wind Waker. i think some parts of the game could benefit from the 3d, like the Deku Leaf segments. plus they can throw in a few easter eggs for the next WW-verse game like they did with OoT3D and Skyward Sword.
