Kid Icarus: Uprising

Whats better then one screen? Well two screens of course! Current-gen portables inside: DS, Lite, DSi, DSXL, 3DS...

Ornes are easy to avoid. All you have to do is recognize where they won't be. Since they just fly around in circles, that's easy.

I tried Chapter 3 on 9.0 Intensity and got destroyed in the flight section because I wasn't fast enough. Again, a type of level design I hate. Being required to get a specific type of upgrade in order to finish a stage isn't good.

Well you were right, Chapter 2 is really easy even in 8.0, I just died on the flying part with the wall...

A few things I heard and noticed:

-Touch the Cauldron's face on the Intensity screen a lot of times.

-The laurel crown on the chapter can be either normal-green or gold depending on having the treasures and gates found.

-The swords at the multiplayer upper menu screen show how many people you defeated.

I finally beat Chapter 4 at 9.0 Intensity. It took all day to do. Every time I did it, I got closer and closer to doing it, until I eventually died on the boss. Next time through I nailed his sorry butt. I just...yeah, that was insane and kind of not fun at times.

I also think I finished my last Speed Run, which is nice. Now I can focus on non-0 intensity levels for fun. Except the 9.0 Intensity levels, those are work -_-

Oh, and there's a bit of an Easter Egg when you "Get Finished." Just hold down on the Circle Pad (or B if you're a lefty) for something neat.

I have a question about this games online functionality. How consistent is the online? Is it really good, some lag, barely any lag. I'm asking this because I want to know how Nintendo is handling their current online. Same question about Mario Kart 7

Got 4 more cards today bring the collection up to 114. They are Oraum Pyrohnn, Battle Damaged Pit, Chaos Kin Stage, and the Lightning Chariot. Still knocking down the time trial levels. Any advice on how to beat the long as tower stage where you get the lightning chariot? I've equipped speed boosts, infinite stamina powers and everything. Still cant seem to get it. :/

Wow, how did you get so many cards? I've got every card I could get my hands on for a grand total of 12. So glad they decided to not sell them separately in NA.

They just come out here and I follow a japanese site that tracks where the cards are or what magazine/book they're being bundled with and go pick em up at a shop or order them via amazon. Right now there are actually more cards it seems out in NA but they're just hard to get. One guy has all of series one release already collected. That over 150 cards! Hoping nintendo of japan will get on the ball over here and just start selling them in booster packs like in europe. :?

I beat Chapter 5 at 9.0 Intensity today. It keeps saying I'm missing a Chest but I don't know where it could be. A little bit of help would definitely be appreciated. And yes, I've gotten the one behind the Intensity Gate.

Have you... tried it at the lowest difficulty possible? Also you can skip some part of the labyrinth part with the Jump or Glide Miracle/Power.

Alright. I hope I don't have to get all of the Chests in one go though. Or else I might go mad.

I didn't really have a problem with Chapter 5 at 9.0 Intensity, and 8.0 was kind of a breeze.

The 4 cards that I recently got came bundled with the Official Nintendo strategy guide for Kid Icarus, so when it comes to item locations on the map, or recommened weapon choices for beating stages on higher difficulties feel free to ask me anything.

Also a big thanks to led-naruto, never consider the jump/gliding powers to be used to cut corner in the games maze like areas so I'll be giving it a shot.

Went back and got the Level 8 Intensity Gate in Chapter 5. I was wondering where that room was. Personally, I'm not a fan of Chapter 5 because of how easy you can die there.

Anyway, played 3 matches of Far Away Together, won all 3 of those. I'll start on Chapter 6 tonight, hopefully finish it tomorrow.

Beat the game last night. Wow. :) 8)

Totally torn now against supporting Medusa or
Spoiler:
Hades
for KI's new rep in SSB4!
Spoiler:
Hades
is just totally badass [and funny]. Shame Sakurai won't think of adding both.

Was not expecting
Spoiler:
'Pitoo' to survive either - doppelgängers, clones etc. rarely do - I mean, surely he'll be MIA in a possible sequel?
.

That all said, I suck enough to not be able to withstand anything above 3.5 difficulty...

I wish there was a way to get a better Bow in this game. I'm convinced all of the Bows in this game are terrible due to their extremely slow rate of fire, lack of homing and all around terribleness. I want to beat Chapter 6 at 9.0 with a Bow, but because they suck, I'm struggling to see how it's even possible.

In addition to that, my game DOESN'T WANT TO GIVE ME A BOW! Cannons, Orbiters, Clubs, Staffs. All in mass quantities. Bows? I have to sacrifice Goats if I want those things.

@KingBroly I just did that chapter with a bow a few days ago, the only advice I can give you is try to find or make a Phosphora bow with a range modifier, along with whatever other modifiers you prefer (defense, health, and whatnot.) The regular shot's homing will still be abysmal but I couldn't use any of the other bows due to the awful rates of fire, while the Phosphora Bow made it... Possible.

I got me a sweet cutter palm that has high damage and high speed boosts. So much its one of the few weapons I can shoot while manuvering in the flying portions of levels and still dodge all incoming fire on 9.0 level difficulties. But it has zero in terms of homing and the range during ground battle levels in meh at best. Still for a ranked 277 weapon thats pretty damn good for being able to get through 9.0 levels.

I was just having trouble with something regarding bows.
There's a challenge about defeating 220 enemies in Chapter 12 on a difficulty 7.5 or higher.
So I noticed that I miss a lot of them in the flight section, so I normally use a Darkness Bow to kill the most of them. Still, I can't get to that mark. I'm always short in 20 or less...

I pretty much have to just fid what I can. I pretty much only fuse weapons that have high stats. Especially ones I find in intensity doors.

Reasons:
1. Almost everything is extremely expensive. (even if you go all crazy in every early levels.)
2. It goes Randomly.
3. They are very weak even if you start the game.
Bang.

I wish they had at least one of each Weapon type available at all times. I also wish something new would pop up if you buy something. But otherwise yes, the Shop kinda sucks. Then again, it might just "fit in" with Palutena's Trollish personality.
