Why is NoA sucking SO MUCH with 3DS VC?

Whats better then one screen? Well two screens of course! Current-gen portables inside: DS, Lite, DSi, DSXL, 3DS...

I found this chart on NWR:
http://www.nintendoworldreport.com/media/30050/4/1.png (Too wide)

And there were even MORE games added to both Europe and Japan's lists since the image was published
(6 days ago). Not to mention the better games they got before the gap (Trip World and PoPGBC in EU, Balloon Kid Color in Japan, etc.)

THIS is why I'm fed up.

ALSO: all of these games (on EU's list) are Nintendo's and in english, so there should be 0 issues with bringing them over...

I was talking about his with a friend last night who works as a developer on 3ds(previously ds and wii too) and he shed some light on why NoA and NCL do some of the things they do with regards to releases. We came to the conclusion that A)Nintendo is still in the mindset of 1991 and they can dictate to everyone and B)Weapons Grade Derp is in the water in their buildings.

So NWR has received a response about NA's DD situation...

Nintendo of Awawawawa wrote:"Each week Nintendo makes available a mix of Nintendo eShop, Virtual Console, WiiWare and Nintendo DSiWare games. Combined, these services currently provide gamers with hundreds of fun and interesting downloadable games to choose from. There is no preset schedule as to how many games will become available in a given week, but many more are on the way via all of these digital-delivery systems."

So, basically, we already have a bunch of stuff! Be happy! Everything that comes every week is just another thing on that pile of pure quality. You'll take what we give you, and you're gonna like it!

Well then! That settles that issue! :)

Spoiler:
f*cking NoA

I have a list of games I want there... and nothing came yet.
And I really looking for GBA games there too. It would be great.
3 basis steps to improves nintendo´s activities:

- Iwata should be take off from the presidency;
- Reggie should be put in some place out of NOA's presidency;
-Miyamoto should take a slap of sense to start caring again for the hardcore gamers.

Well, seeing as the thread was bumped...

I'm quite pleased with NA's VC output as of late, just for consistant releases. 3 GBC games in a row is a great thing too in my eyes, as it is a more valuable platform imo.

Several great games are still sorely missing that are available in other regions, but I think that they will all come over the summer, as NoA finally seems to get that the more releases in a week, the better. Hopefully we will see the one VC game a week thing happen every week. Now just get out all the games you are missing! I still need Wario, Kid Icarus, Kirby DL2, and Dr.Mario! And dont get me started on what we're missing from Japan...

The main problem is that Nintendo can't keep up a constant stream of releases. Also, we need GBA games.

Well, for the last four weeks, we have had a GB/C game show up each week. Going by how the least 2 or 3 weeks (forgot) have been content-packed, I'd say that VC releases are finally back in rotation.

And my ambassador self says no to GBA games :P
Honestly, I think a years wait for those would be good, there are still a few gems and forgotten titles left out of the GB, and a large amount of GBC games that deserve a release without other systems delaying releases on those systems, GBC especially. GBC list time coming:

Metal Gear Solid
Pokemon RBY/GSC
Zelda Oracles
Mario Tennis
Mario Golf
Mario Deluxe
Kirby Tilt n Tumble
DKL1-3/DKC
Wario Land 2+3
Dragon Warrior 1+2 and 3 plus spinoffs
Game and Watch Gallery 3
Mega Man Xtreme 1+2
Pokemon Pinball
Shantae
Toki Tori
Bionic Commando 2: Elite Forces
Pokemon/YuGiOh Card Games

and other titles I am probably forgetting... GBC is horribly misrepresented and should be focused on before we move on to GBA I think. GBA could wail a little while longer, and I eagerly await new releases past the first 10

I know, but I feel like their choice of games is kinda... random. Instead of putting up those games you've listed, they opt for games people have less interest on.

True. Thats sort of why I'm angry :p

The last 4 games (Kirby's Block Ball, G&WGallery 2, Rayman, Prince of Persia) haven't been all bad at least. Nintendo will probably release the four games NA didn't receive from February on soon enough (Wario Land, Kid Icarus II, Dr. Mario, Kirby's Dreamland 2)

Shantae coming soon should be at least a good sign. More 3rd partys need to put up old games on VC - it shouldnt be hard to make a profit on them. :/

They really need to release a Coming Next Week or this week for all games. And atleast release 2 Gameboy Games on the service each week. DSiware I can take if the game is actually good. But this is starting to become really bad. Where is all of our games? :( I want to see more games on the E-shop. If not do that Do a Demo day for 3DS games and then a day for regular VC/Dsiware games. But that might be asking too much.

Nintendo really needs to pick up the pace. C'mon, they have a lot of Game Boy games that haven't been released, they have a whole library of NES games that also haven't been released, and I'm pretty sure the 3DS can run up to N64, so where's the Genesis games, SNES games, the confirmed-at-one-point Turbografx 16 games? As an ambassador, I'm more frustrated by the inconsistent emulation for GBA games than I would ever be with not having them as an exclusive. Release all the ambassador games already so I can have everything in a nice package. No sleep mode is a damn shame.

Really, at this point I think Nintendo should release at least 3 VC games a week. They have a huge library of titles, and if they continue this horribly sluggish schedule with the Wii U (if the stores are integrated, which I'm guessing they will be), well... Wow.

Nintendo is FINALLY playing catchup. I'm happy... after July, they should have everything up aside from Kirby Dream Land 2, probably due to the Wii collection. I would expect that end of/next year.

Lets hope they dont fall behind again... please :(
