So 3DSWare and VC (in NA) has come to a halt pretty much... so, what's left to buy?
DSiWare games, of course!
However, given the services shaky track record, I figured that we have a thread to compile the best of the service, as a suggestion thread for current and future 3DS/DSi owners.
1. Don't recommend Cave Story or Four Swords: the 3DS version is coming, which is the DSi version +. Four Swords is no longer on the service.
2. Put a mini-review - a sentence long at least. Say what price it is, the type of game, etc.
1: Mario vs. DK: A shorter version of the Mario vs. DK DS titles, plus an online level editor. 8$, like a demo for other MvsDK games, worth a purchase, I think.
2: Aura Aura Climber: A game where you climb up to the top. VERY fun and addicting. Must-buy at 2$.
3: Spotto!: Sort of like Super-Fragger - throw bombs into ghosts mouths. For 2$, it's worth it, definitely.
4: Rayman: The original Rayman game, complete on DS. The screen is a little cramped, but there is a map on the bottom, an excellent use and addition. BEAUTIFUL sprite work, oozing with personality and colors. It's hard-as-nails - levels are difficult to get thrpugh and collectibles are near impossible to find without help. Even at 8$, it's a must buy. Vey underrated: hopefully Rayman Origins popularizes this one.
5: Bird & Beans: A fun little game where you catch fruits with a bird's tongue. If you have WarioWare GBA, then this is already on there. But if you don't, get this at 2$.
6: PiCTOBiTS: A wonderful little puzzle game. It gets hard quick, but it is worth it: very fun, very original, very nostalgic, and very great! Pick it up at $5. (150 CN coins during May)
7: 10 Second Run: Very fun for 2$. Make it through the levels in 10 seconds each. Difficult and fun - if you want a game for short bursts, this is it.
8: Frogger Returns: It's Frogger. With 3D graphics. For 5$, it's too much, but if you like Frogger, then it's there for you.
So, post your favorite (or all of your) DSiWare titles. I'll make a list when we have a list, and maybe we can use the thread as a guide to the best of the best on DSi.
