Do you want assist Items for NSMB 2?

So in New Super Mario Bros Wii we got the SUPER GUIDE which was pretty neat because Luigi's moves were incredible and it only help a little bit. No way I could imitate those SUPER MOVES.

For those of you who played Super Mario 3D land we got a Tanooki suit power up that's make you invincible forever. Which help way too much and made is too easy. And by some chance you still didn't course clear you get a P-wing power up that makes you fly to the goal pole which is Ultra Cheap IMO

So do you want this game to have no assist items or have a new super guide or something totally new?

Ok for my own Idea I was thinking of a Yoshi assist Item if a player dies for about 10 times you get to do the course again except this time with a Yoshi which you get to ride except this one can do a ULTRA JUMP by crouching down
and pressing the jump button. And it can also gently fall down by wiggling it's feet forever and if you have the raccoon power up with you and fly you take the Yoshi along with you.

You can call it Super Yoshi if you'd like hehehe if this game had Star Coins again I will die on purpose just to have this power-up hehehe to get them coins

I could not care less whether they have assist items or not. Most of the time they never appear for me, but if they do I never use them anyway. Even if it takes me 100 times I would rather do it myself than "cheat" to beat a level. Maybe they should just give you a demonstration of what you have to do, instead of you not actually having to do it. I guess this might not help some people though. I realize there will be people who absolutely love these super guides and or invincible items, but I just don't like them. :P

I liked the cheat items in sm3dland but you can't use them after you beat the game.
What since does it make to give players aid if the harder half of the game doesn't also give you the same aid(reminds me of visions in oot 3d) if you want to exclude form the easy part of the and include in the hard part that would make tons more since. Now i keep jumping in mystery boxes and hoping to see a pwing.

Don't care. Won't use em either way.

I would like to see the videos that NSMBW had, but I'd rather they not be the "reward" for collecting the star coins.

I don't mind seeing them being added again to NSMB2 to be honest. Some people just plain suck and need those assists more than anything. They can get quite desperate if all else fails to pass the level.

I used to be one of those people who were like "SUPER GUIDE? THIS INSULTS ME AS A GAMER", but when I actually started to see it implemented (in NSMBW, DKCR, Zelda's hint stone and Punch-Out's headgear and so on) it became less annoying since it's obvious you can just ignore it if you don't want to use it.

So with that in mind, I don't care what game has a guide.

I think that people are silly if they don't go back and try doing the stuff themselves (as in, just skipping to the next level, instead of learning their mistakes and trying to do them for themselves), but what am I gonna do?

My only real beef with the Super Guides and stuff is that the games themselves don't get more challenging as a result. Like, if you're going to implement that kind of system, why are you (Miyamoto!!!!) dead set on making the game easier anyway? I thought the point of the system was so that seasoned gamers can enjoy their challenge and everyone else can skip things if it gets too tough.

Otherwise, it's pretty ingenious for those who actually have a problem with a game like Donkey Kong Country Returns, which can get pretty tough. I don't think people really need it for NSMB, though.
