Final Fantasy III on PSP makes sense

It makes sense for SquareEnix to release Final Fantasy III on the PSP. Afterall, the PSP is selling more units than the PS Vita. What do you guys think?

If the Vita is continuously backed by Sony than it's only a matter of time before I get the portable device. Because of this, it discourages me from buying any games for my PSP. The Vita is not backwards compatible, so whenever I see a PSP game that slightly interests me I go "Ooo, oh, never mind". I will not be keeping the PSP if/when I get the Vita so for me it makes no sense. I mean, unless I buy it digitally, which I'm not a big fan of so I wont.

Sony hasn't even put Mega Man Powered Up on the PS Store. The day they do that is the day I buy a Vita and overpriced memory card. But they don't support it.
