Dissidia: Final Fantasy

Anyone interested in this game? I don't own a PSP, but there's probably around 15-20 PSP games that I really, really want to play and Dissidia just might be the tipping point that makes me break down and buy one. Garland vs. Sephiroth? AWESOME! I only hope that Cecil and/or Kain are included in the game. Or hell, maybe Edge, Yang or Rydia with some summon attacks.

Also interesting is that Square Enix doesn't seem to be getting much backlash from fans, doing a fighting game instead of a RPG - whereas Konami is getting lambasted for doing the same thing with the Castlevania series. Both games are spinoffs with plenty of fan service. Maybe Final Fantasy fans are used to this sort of thing, since the FF series has seen tons of spinoffs since its inception (including Ehrgeiz, a fighting game featuring FF characters).

I only wish this were a PS3 game, but the graphics look pretty damn good for the PSP. Sadly, Castlevania Judgment for the Wii doesn't look much better in the graphics department.

I would say it will be Cecil without a doubt, sadly if they were to add a Summoner type character it would probably be Yuna.

I'm in the same boat as you, I don't have a PSP but there are quite a few games building up that are making it harder and harder to not get one.

MAN! That scene with Squall and Sephiroth going at it REALLY makes me think twice about not wanting to go for it and finally buy a PSP.
