G4 pretty much hates Nintendo (long post)

Did anyone else see the g4 e3 conference it was pretty much Nintendo bashing 2012 that horrid wench Morgan Webb said anything she could to make the wii u look bad while making the Xbox look like some glorious genius innovater with their "smart glass" aka the wii u game pad while not once mentioning the fact that micro pretty much stole the idea but that blind eye they took didn't account for the wii u pro controller which they talked about "it's pretty much a Xbox controller"
Oh really Morgan Webb really what does smart glass remind you of while saying this is Nintendo last shot did everyone forget that the wii won this gen and the 3ds is the top selling handheld and the wii is outselling the Xbox in Japan where the Xbox can't even get footing and how bullshit is it that during their press conference they said the Xbox was the number one console world wide I legit wanted to punch him in the face for spreading such lies. Ok that is it for my rage

While I agree that Morgan clearly has some bias, I am not yet ready to say the Smartglass is a rip of the Wii U, at least not to the extent that people make it out to be. Nintendo was the first, to my knowledge, add a tablet into a controler, however Microsoft is not doing this. They are making tablets the controlers. That beings said, the Smartglass doesnt look like it is a good way to play games in my opinion, because the Ipad and other tablets generally dont have enough buttons to properly control a consule game. My point is there are alot of rip off of Nintendo things( Playstation All Stars Battle Royale is the most recent),

Funny enough, the first time I heard about it, I thought it was Smartglasses, which is amusing to me after all the time Reggie spent attacking 3d glasses is 2010.

As for the pro controller I really dont see the issue here. It is literally a Wii U Gamepad without the tablet, NFC and remote button. Did people expect Nintendo to go out of their way to make the controller look different to everything else. I mean, I would have prefered a GC like controler, but this is the next best thing, in my opinion at least. If anyone can explain to me why the pro cotnrollers design is bad, that would be great.

I agree, to an extent. Nintendo did make a new controller, the Wii U Gamepad. My understanding was that the pro controller was for people who want to have a more traditional gaming experiance.( I dont think I will be buying a pro controller because the Gamepad is just so much more appealing to me.)

While I understand some people felt disappointed by the Wii U press conference, Im not one of them. They showed Pikmin 3, and a 2d Mario platformer for the launch window. They showed alto of third party games, and while not all of them where "hardcore" (if someone could explain to me what makes a game hardcore, and why every game should be expected to follow those guidelines in order to be at E3, Please do), enough of the third party titles seemed fun to me. I coudl have done withotu the dancign and singing, but then somebody probably is excited about a new just dance game for Nintendo Wii U.

Morgan Webb is a complete joke, and should never even open her mouth, much less be on TV. Did you see the Castlevania video yesterday? Afterwords they were talking about the 3 consoles with two guys as soon as they mentioned the WiiU her mouth opened like she was gonna make some crappy comment about it, and she became restless and looked uncomfortable when they weren't bashing it. I thought it was kind of funny. I think she is a little upset that her prediction like 6 months ago that Nintendo would never make a HD game was wrong. HD was her argument for why Nintendo sucks, but now she has to think up some other lame excuse, and thinking is hard when you have no brain.

I forgot to ask this earlier, as I very rarely watch television ( Games are more entertaining. ^^;) Is G4 supposed to be an unbiased place, or has it always had a favor for a particular company?

I have no particular issue with a channel liking one company more then the others, so long as there is at least one unbiased one.

G4 has hated Nintendo for quite a long time. Their bias, on most things is what keeps me away from the channel. I would love a balanced video game show...not hard to do...I guess people have to look like raging 10 year olds to get the dudebro audience to watch.

But, you could have a mature show about video games, it isn't that hard. 1 hour long, and devote it to each game type, and shorten or lengthen those segments based on the news of the day.

10 min - Console
10 min - PC
10 min - Handhelds
5 min - Retro Spotlight
5 min - Special Reveal, Help A Gamer, Indie Games, Rotating Segment Section

45 minutes is all you will get (and you'll be lucky to get that) with commercials. Why is that so hard? Grown up, mature, funny, hosts who are actual gamers with a broad background of interests. We don't really need half a dozen FPS, WRPG only game players hosting these shows with obvious biases against certain types of games and/or developers/companies.
