...So uh...what?
why does anyone care?Im not sure who I should be more annoyed with, the jerkoffs who find this offensive, or ubisoft for being cowards.
If an assassins creed game took place in Ireland, would they paint the british sympathetic during the bloody sunday massacre? would they apologize for including it in the game?
We killed the british in their sleep on
christmaswe were brutal as hell, we fought a guerrilla war against a bunch of uptight redcoats playing like war was a turn based strategy game. Do you see anyone apologizing to americans after bringing that up?
You see every day in the news someone new blaming the ENTIRE country for the wars in the middle east, and nobody is apologizing for it.
Has anyone apologized to the japanese for making them the villains in WWII games? Or is it just because of the sick experiments they performed on POWs? Is there a rule? like you have to reach a certain amount of war crimes and acts of inhumanity to be disqualified for apologies?
and people are always talking about how awful the US is for the enola gay bombings, does that change anything?
If you find any of this offensive, please remove yourself from the internet, because youll never make it. I just hope there isnt some ham handed twist ending where this whole time the british were the good guys, because god forbid those supposedly sensitive people get their feelings hurt over something that happened more than 200 years ago.
@brianxbangInterestingly, its noah webster's fault if I recall. He wanted to create an american language to seperate us further from the british, when people say they speak "american" and not "English"...they are actually right. Not that anybody ever seems to call it "american english"
