And PLEASE tell me Black 2 and White 2 are just placeholder names... At least do like Dark Black and Light White or something

What games are those?

I think we're all confused:
1. Why are they being released on the DS?
2. What are these games to begin with? Are they Grey Version A and Grey Version B or are they genuine sequels to Black and White?
The first one will likely never get an answer, of course.

Judging by the 'new mysteries' tagline and the gigantic '2', I'd assume that they're sequels.

Inazuma Eleven 2: Blizzard and Firestorm. They released in Japan 29 months ago, they'll release in Europe next month, and America...
"Inazuma Eleven? What's that?" - Nintendo of America. In fairness to them, if they're not releasing it here on the assumption that Americans don't care about soccer, they're probably correct.

Iridium077 wrote:Dark Black and Light White? That doesn't make physical sense, since Black and White are the darkest and lightest visible colors respectively.
I'm pretty sure these titles are going to be kept, but if they're changed, I'd expect them to be something to the effect of BlizzardBlack and FlareWhite. Which reminds me of an entirely different DS game getting ice- and fire-themed games this year...

Nintendo isn't even in charge of Inazuma Eleven, so why are you even attacking them for not having interest in releasing the games?![]()
Oh right because Nintendo of Europe is releasing it. Let's not get into this crap again, we already went there with Solatorobo. Besides Nintendo of Europe publishes a LOT of games that aren't really their properties.
Case in point:
