I thought they were 25GB discs. Which makes sense for single layer blu-rays.

Using Club Nintendo would be the best way. Most of us already have our 3DSs connected to it. So all we have to do is connect our WiiUs to the internet, connect it to our Club Nintendo accounts and Bam unified accounts. We're already 1/2 way there. Then we can us our Nintendo points for both WiiU and 3DS like Miyamoto attended us to. And Nintendo can monitor our online purchases...

I really hope (but doubt) that if they do implement unified user accounts, that any VC games I've bought on one system will be playable on the other. I don't mean Wii -> Wii U, I mean playing GB games I've bought on my 3DS on my Wii U, and playing NES games I've bought on my Wii (U) on my 3DS. PSN supports a similar system, it's kinda pathetic that Nintendo doesn't, especially since I'm still of the opinion that most of the VC is overpriced in the first place. At least give us some value for that premium.

i've noticed alot of people aren't too excited for digital retail games. i've been wanting something like this since the game cube. i've always liked the idea of turning on my console and having any game i own just waiting and ready to go with the push of a button. kind of like a juke box for games.
i can understand people wanting to have physical copies of their games, it's nice to have something tangible when you spend your money. it would be great if their was some way of buying the physical copy and putting that on your console.
the best of both worlds.
in fact i like that idea better than downloading it off the innernets. for me anyhow. god knows what downloading a wiiu game would do for my capped internet.
