As we've already shared, the Club Nintendo 3DS game card case is out of stock yet again. A popular item to be sure. Reader Whatami wanted to know when the next shipment might come in, which lead to some upsetting news.

I got three of them while they were in stock, with plans to order a fourth after the start of the new Club Nintendo Year. As I said, so very useful in conserving that valuable shelf space. Heck, I'd be okay with picking these up for $5 at GameStop, if they didn't want to continue offering them for free.

i am ok with not being able to get this reward for free. But if they ever do offer it up again i will indeed get one just for the 3DS games. The only reason why i did not get one was because i still have my SMB level 1 based case with stylus set and my 3DS games can fit in it barely too lol.

Man, never got it. Should have, I have a habit of keeping a few games on my computer desk, and it'd probably be better to have a small case to hold many rather than keep putting boxes away or leaving them around like this. Kinda hope they do restock them..

I got one a couple months ago and sold it on ebay for $35 since I didn't need a case. I guess they will be worth more now... :-/

I would have gotten one if I didn't already have a 16 case for DS and a 12 card + 4 SD card case from third parties before this was made available

I can't say I'm all that surprised. It was a really popular item, and to say the least, they're technically giving it away for free. I was honestly surprised they even restocked it in the first place, so to hear them say that chances are good they won't restock it again doesn't surprise me in the slightest.

I noted this before but I really think contacting Nintendo CSR to ask about things they will not likely have operational knowledge of stuff like (when is X game coming or why is X game NOT coming) is really not helping.

People invest WAY TOO MUCH time reading between the line of neutral/stock responses and when one of them freelance a bit and inserts a phrase or a word that hints at something then we have these rumours going on based on a CSR's response.

I said more intially but going to scale back my general annoyance about Nintendo CSR being used as a source for everything these days.

CN stuff I suppose is more in the grey area where they probably should have more operational knowledge.

If there's so much demand (and there clearly is) I can't imagine Nintendo not producing more. An increase in coins, or maybe even offering them for a $ amount via stores is certainly possible.

I don't understand why they won't restock this, it seems kinda silly. I wish that Club Nintendo would stock more items that are useful such as the game case.

Oh well, at least I got one for myself and for a certain lucky Redcoat. ;p

They should just make a carryable pouch of like fabric or something. I got one of these, but I would much prefer something I could put in my pocket comfortably

Anyway, they cost too much for me since I already spent coins on the Zelda posters, 2 games and the SMB shirt a while back. I am only just now bringing my coins back up. Had to pass on some cool games and stuff like this and the Luigi case.
