I'm stoked for Luigi's Mansion 2, but my god. The detail in the Gamecube version is leagues above the 3DS one.

I hope they'll support circle pad pro so we can just play it as we did the first game, using two sticks. it's a little depressing that the GC graphics gave the impression of physicality and had a genuinely creepy feel. But the 3DS version looks like a not-very-spooky cartoon, thanks to all those gradient-fills and lamo-o textures. I really hope these aren't final images. It's too bad the 3DS doesn't use big, old-fashioned cartridges - because I'm starting to feel like it could use some enhancement chips.

Unless you're a certified 3DS developer, that comment doesn't make sense. Most 3DS games don't incorporate anti-aliasing. Most non-PC games don't incorporate anti-aliasing.

If that's so, then why do high res games on ps3 and 360 appear with a low amount of jagged edges? There has to be some sort of anti-aliasing set up even it the developers don't specifically call it that. Otherwise, high res games would looks blotchy and blocky if there was no AA...
