You know what's really funny about Wii U? We know some games that are going to be available on the first day, but we still don't know what day that's going to be. I think we should spend more time trying to figure out when we can actually buy the system!

I will only buy the black Wii U. I won't be able to get it day one now. Black Friday is just very close if it comes in November or October and I enjoyed it last year. I will get it afterwards. Black only.

There are already so many good games potentially ready for launch that I'm sure deciding between games will be tough on launch day.

Nintendo will definitely have at least one major first party game, so either Pikmin 3 or NSMBU. Hopefully both.

If I were to go for it on launch day then I'd hope to get one of the games that I want to buy the system for. Rayman Legends, Pikmin 3, or even Batman. They can GTFO with the system if none of them made it.

But I'm also waiting for the black Wii U.

So hope Nintendo doesn't screw around and have people wait long for a different color like what happened with Wii.

This is an awesome launch lineup. Some guys from the IGN (the Playstation team) were just talking about how they believed the PS Vita had the best launch lineup ever; I disagree... and I believe this lineup blows it out of the water. For gamers that don't have multiple systems it's hard to argue against these games.

Batman, AC III, Lego City, NSM Bros Wii U, Pikmin (probably later), Rayman, Zombi U (maybe later), the two sports games and Scribblenauts are all really solid... I predict a combined metacritic score average higher than 7.5. I can't imagine much better. I'm going to have a hard time picking out just a few games when I buy my system.

Speaking of, I'm assuming I will get a white one, unless black is available. I'm very surprised so many of you are going "black or nothing", but that's your choice if you want to miss out on all these great looking game experiences.

ZombieU is supposed to be out on day one! And tat is so far the game that looks the best (after Comic-Con)!

It mostly depends on the launch price for me... If it's $3oo then I'll wait for $250.

I'll also wait for a stronger game line-up too. Wait for Aliens, and see if Ubisoft brings Splinter Cell, wait for Metro too.

Also, my white Wii looks like shovel, so I'll wait for the black color this time.

A black Wii"U" and NSMBU must be at launch for me. Now that I think about it, I orginally always wanted the black Wii but had to settle for a White one. I am not making that mistake a second time and being stuck with an ugly white console again. Black all the way or no buy. I can deal without having a console, I've got my 3DS which has kept me busy unlike my Wii.

I bought a white Wii at launch, then a couple of years ago it broke down and I had to buy a new one, and a got a black one. Now I don't really like it, so I'll get back to white with the Wii U XD

The system will launch with no games. Miiverse should be enough for anyone, right everyone who said the eShop was plenty for the 3DS launch? Oh wait you mean that wasn't fully ready at launch? *rolls eyes*

That being said, unless they shock us and put out a non-NSMB Mario, Zelda, Smash, or Mario Kart, I won't be getting one at launch. Same situation as the 3DS. There just doesn't appear to be enough launch titles I'm interested in to justify a purchase. It saddens me to say that just like it did for the 3DS because I love Nintendo systems and their games and even some 3rd party series/titles as well, but I'm not going to spend $200+ on a new system when the games I want won't even be out yet. If I want a paperweight or doorstop, I can go get one for a couple bucks.
