First game you ever played

You know them, and love them. If you want to talk Nintendo consoles/handhelds from the NES to Gamecube days, here is the perfect place. Virtual Boy welcome!

First game I owned on a Nintendo console was: Star Wars: Shadows of the Empire. I hated IG-88. :x

I'm pretty sure it was Pac-man. Either that, or a really bad port of Donkey Kong for Intellivision. I remember seeing the actual Donkey Kong in an arcade after that. It floored me.

My first game was for the Game Boy. Gex 2 or something. I never really liked gaming that much until recently. I tried out my friend's Xbox one day, and one: there were too many buttons and two: I couldn't use the analog stick for crap. So I stuck with the basics, using a GBC and GBASP. Until November 18, 2006. When my cousin sent me her old Nintendo 64. I gave it a try, and loved it. Super Mario 64 was my favorite by far. Hell, she even sent me her GameCube a week later. My birthday ( 2-18 ) came up, and I got an Xbox 360. I wanted a Wii, and was upset at first. But then I loved it. Burnout Revenge and Star Wars Battlefront II immediately knocked SM64 down two spaces on my favorite games list. I made, what 20 friends on Xbox live and you can download arcade classics such as Galaga. I know this is a Nintendo forum, but hell the 360 is just freakin' awesome! The Wii is still on my hit list, but my parents happen to go in debt two days later. crud.

Oh crap, I went off topic, didn't I?
How come all the games with great gameplay have crappy graphics, and all the games with Pwning graphics have crappy gameplay?

I'd probably say Tetris on the Gameboy.

On the consoles, I would have to say Super Mario 64 on the N64. That was a fun game.

Ugh... should I count the old Windows 3.1 educational games like Reader Rabbit?

The first real game I played was probably Sonic the Hedgehog 2 on my friend's GameGear.

I think mine was like when I was 3 playing Barney's Hide and Go seek! It was at my Grandma's house and it was my fav game :D but another game I played was 007 for the 64. When I died and the blood filled the screen I ran in my room crying *tear*

O also, I played 007 because it looked fun, believe me, it wasn't my parents fault! They would never allow me to really play that! But I learned and now I like halo 2!

Mine was 1 out of 2 possibilities:

The Mask for SNES or Tazmanian Devil for SNES. Always played that game at my cousins house.

Konami's Skate or Die Bad 'n Rad, for the original gameboy, it was only 7 levels long, and you can start any where between levels 1-4. Its was a combination side scroller (odd numbered levels) and a vertical scroller (even numbered levels), and I have never beat it till this day... its way too hard. Oh and I have never seen another copy of it ANYWHERE even ebay. Even wiki doesn't have a page for it, it is only listed in the complete list of games for the original gameboy.

The first game on a console that I ever played was Super Mario World. I still play it on my SNES today!

My first PC game was Backyard Baseball, the first one.

Ah, the memories! The save gave out on Super Mario World twice (I erased it by accident) but I had my 90-something score back within two hours. After that came Yoshi's Story.

Then, I never owned an N64 or a Gamecube, because I was too busy playing RTS games on the PC. Then I got a Wii. Well, before that, I had an imported GBA and then a DS.

The first game I ever played was Super Mario Bros. for the NES. I had never even heard of Nintendo but for christmas one year my uncle gave us his because I guess he was bored with it or something. For the first few weeks I just remember my brother playing (I don't think he let me play much). He would run into the goombas and yell "stupid owls".
