Any Donkey Kong Jungle Beat love in here?

I just got this game this past Christmas and didn't actually open it till one month later. I must say that I'm hooked on this game so bad. I keep on striving to get every single platinum crest and am getting better as I do so.
Anyway, any fellow Cubers feel the same or nah?!? :D

I played this game when my cousin brought it with him. I was a bit disappointed with it though :\ I was expecting a game with the same level of challenge and fun as Donkey Kong Country but its way too easy. I know that getting the crests is challenging and all but I just wasn't that impressed that I would pay $50 for it.

It is kinda fun to play with bongo controllers though :D I nearly beat the game in the short time that I played it and the bosses were a joke in my opinion. Its a nice pick-up-and-play game though.

Man, I've got to get back to playing that game! I got it the day it came out, played it for a bit, then like stopped playing it completely. It was pretty darn fun.

I loved it, but it was definitely a short game. I played about 5 hours in a row the day I bought it, and haven't touched it much since. In the end, I'd say it was worth it, since I got a Bongo with it (I have all 4 now.)

never really played it other than store demos. is it a game worth my money? i just thought nintendo might have tried to be a little too innovative with this one.

I had a tough time pulling my little sister away from it at Fry's. It seemed like a lot of fun. While I'm not going to spend the 55 bucks retail price, I've definitely been shopping around on ebay and now just waiting to snag it at the right price. Yeah, I've heard the game is short, but I'm also going to get Donkey Konga 1 and 2 (and 3 if they ever bring it over) to get my money's worth for the bongos. I picked up 2 brand new sets on ebay a couple days ago.

I have DKJB, it was fun for the time I played it. Beat it in one night though, mainly because I used the controller (I used the bongos when need be). It was great fun, and I recommend it to anyone with a taste for beating the crap out of something. The monkey bosses are the best ones, and the game was just fun! Glad they made a platformer using the bongos, it was fun as hell!

Just got it from my girlfriend last week for my birthday. I have been playing it like a madman and so have my friends actually. The first couple of levels the bongo's felt like a gimmick but once you get used to the controls... man I absolutely love this game! One of the best platformers I ever played and definitely one of my favourite games at the moment!
