When will you get the 3DS?

I'll probably hold off until after E3 to see when the other titles are coming out.

Am I right when I think that the 3DS launch lineup is going to be less-than-stellar?

I am either getting it after my university exams (June) or when I return from my summer holidays (October).

Getting mine Day 1! I like launch days...it's fun and feels like an event. You gather with a bunch of strangers who are all just as excited as you are and everyone has a pretty good time. The experience is almost just as good as the reward at the end of the wait!

I'm waiting for the 3DS Lite. I know it won't be named that but it's one of the poll choices and it sounded pretty funny. Plus I always wait for the redesign phase when it comes to Nintendo handhelds like GB Color, GBA SP, DS Lite.

So I pre-ordered my 3DS at my local Gamestop. The Gamestop I pre-ordered it at i'sent doing a midnight launch, instead there doing a 9 A.M. Launch/opening thing on Sunday.

When do you think i should start to line up? I'm thinking about getting there at about 5 A.M. but i don't want that to be to late where i get there and theres a huge line.

I know i pre-ordered it and everything but i know Gamestop wont be getting 50 3DS' or anything like that and the shipment of the 3DS' werent that high to start off with and i want to make sure i get one day 1.

What do you guys think?

you never know.. i'd swing by there late after they close to see if there is a line.. if not, 5 should be fine... besides, you preordered it.. they should have it waiting for you.

Day one, no doubt (that's if I can make it). I got a call from my gamestop in a happy sounding tone saying... "HEY! Just wanted to let you know that we WILL be stocked on Sunday!"

So Yes day one, the only other console I went for on day one was the Wii, only because we just happened to pass by a Toysrus in my area that only had 10 people online with the store opening in less than 2 hours.
