Or Breath of Fire. I still say those SNES era rpgs were the best ever made. And they would make for some great animation, if done right. I'm not talking that "FFV" based anime they made. It was very "meh", and wasn't actually based on the game's story. If it had been, that would have been awesome.

Okay, I shouldn't have used the words "never EVER". I should have left some wiggle room and said "hardly ever". That would have been more accurate. Of course there are exceptions to every rule, but games based off of movies are generally terrible.Devil_Rising wrote:tristenj1992 wrote:Games based on movies are never, EVER good. The Super Star Wars series on SNES, as well as the SNES and Arcade versions of Hook, would like to have a word with you. Also, the Terminator 2 arcade game wasn't half bad for a run-of-the-mill arcade shooter. There were other games as such that were good to decent, but I don't care to sit and think of more right this moment.
Perhaps the amendment to your statement should read "New games based on modern movies are never, EVER good." That would be quite accurate, I think.
And even then, I HEAR (never played) that the Spider-Man 2 movie based game was pretty good.
