So I guess you guys don't dig on comics as much as I thought you would. :lol:

Anyway, today I got my car. A 1997 Toyota Camry, green. I'm not a car guy, so I'm not picky on what I get, as long as it has a way for me to play my mp3's. (Which my car can do, thankfully.)

So does anyone here have a car of their own?

Yes, I do have a car. It's all paid for and done (That means it's a little on the crappy side :lol:

). I'm not a big car guy either so hang with me here. I think it is a KIA, it's red, and was made before 2000. Other than that, I'm clueless as to what the car is really called! Kinda sad if you think about it...

Only problem, I don't have a license. I'm taking my driver's written test tomorrow morning, which is a start, but I'm really nervous about taking it. I don't want to get up there and miss like 10 and look like a noob. Here goes nothing. :mrgreen:

i'm close to my license too, but i don't have a car yet. i turn 16 in late august, so hopefully by then i'll have a license and maybe a car to drive.

p.s. i posted this with the 3ds internet browser and it took me like 10 minutes just to type this with the stylus. my hand hurts like hell :lol:

I've only had one car in my life. I got it for my 16th birthday and I've had her for six years now. A 1987 Acura Integra (which means it's older than I am). She isn't much to look at (dull grey), and she isn't much to drive (wont go in reverse anymore), but she's mine. In six years she's really only broken down twice. She's served me well, but I'm very sad knowing that her time is coming to an end. I'll have to replace her soon, but I doubt I'll be as attached to my new car as I am to this one. :cry:

Nope, can't even drive yet. Getting to the point where I think I really need to though. Going to hopefully start lessons this summer and if all goes well plan to be driving my own car by the time I graduate this time in a year.

I have owned two cars so far. My first was a 1990 (?) Oldsmobile Regency. My parents got it off an 80-something-year-old man who hadn't driven it in years for about $800. It was a pretty fancy car, complete with power windows, power locks...lots of bells and whistles. The catch? None of them worked! Not even the speedometer worked half the time, which meant I was more or less in constant danger of speeding (and consequently getting ticketed), especially being a new driver at the time.

I absolutely hated that thing.

Thankfully, a couple years ago I saved up enough money to trade that hunk-a-junk in for a 2002 Dodge Neon. Nothing special, but it's leagues ahead of what I had before. Best part of course is being able to watch my speed now (though I do still go a little faster than I should most of the time ^^;)

I don't have a car, but I'm not really sure if I want one, my city's not big enough, so I can pretty much go everywhere walking. Besides, I don't know how to drive
