I guess i had this for sure and then some dumbfiick from IGN said "no way zelda wii comes out this year"

But anyway, its all good now.

And you know... after 3mil new units sold in the holydays, 3rd parties better boost up some wii support.

All in all, it makes 2010 a "good wii year", because the game is so hyped that every new little info is almost like the game´s first review.

"Myamoto says Link will have 6 fingers in each hand in the new Zelda" Bang, people talk about this micro info for 4 weeks.

Personally, this is bigger news than DS 'HD' (as in, higher in resolution than the DS).

It's pretty good news but I belive an HD DS is bigger.. at least for DS fans, I think. Heck, I don't even own a DS and I think it's pretty cool.


Back on topic; hopefully more info on Zelda Wii will come in soon.. epecifically to confirm the validity of this.

If this is indeed true, this has to be the best kept Zelda in regards to gameplay info, images and footage.

Like Monster Hunter Tri. That's it. Those are the 'big' Wii releases from third parties for this year and I'm quite happy. Red Steel 2, NMH2, Other M, Galaxy 2 and Zelda Wii are more than enough to make my inner fanboy go *BOOM*.

The year barely started, and this is already the year of the Wii, and maybe the best year in gaming ever. I mean, it is still January, and we got all the S1 awesome games like TvC, MH3, NMH2, RS2, and awesome games for the future like Metroid, Galaxy 2, Zelda, maybe RZ, NBA Jam and all the unannounced games coming. Mind-blowing. Add to that the gems like Bioshock 2 and Bayonetta coming on the HD twins and the big portable titles (like Scribblenauts 2 and Golden Sun DS) and you got a year no one can complain, no matter the taste or the console. Well, at best can complain about the time and money that lacks to play so many awesome games.

Pretty much, somebody is going to 2011. Other M is by Team Ninja and they can meet deadlines, so that is making it. Galaxy 2 has already been shown.

some of you guys are forgetting that Other M has a development staff that is more than 50% NEAD. Less than 50% Team Ninja. It's a COLLABORATION leaning more toward the Ninty side of things. Not that it should have much to do with Zelda Wii, but im seeing it involved in the conversation

I still think that IF Zelda makes it for 2010 (it should - its been four years already and counting) than either Galaxy 2 or Other M will get pushed for a 2011 release.

Another way to look at it is that Nintendo has no faith in Metroid: Other M and Mario Galaxy 2 to push hardware in 2010. If so, they are right. I always considered Galaxy 2 and Other M to be the wrong types of software. However, they are far better than the User Generated Content games. At worst, apathy will greet Galaxy 2 and Other M. But with the anti-content direction that Nintendo went on, there was a serious backlash. The potential people saw in the Wii just died. I don’t see any other way to explain the sudden turn in their momentum.

Zelda, Mario, and Metroid released all the same year? But these are all very weak games. in terms of momentum building. None of those games are like Mario 5. They are more like Super Gamecube games.

He´s calling those games "Super Gamecube Games" because they´re appealing to a small public (meaning us) that cant change the tides on a console sales/perception

As much as i want to play Galaxy 2 and Metroid M, i can see he has a point. Its kind of difficult for these games to appeal to anyone other than us (and unfortunally, there´s not too many "us" in this world)

But not Zelda Wii.

I can see Zelda Wii as being the ultimate bridge between "casuals" and "hardcore"

Because (and he is ignoring this very fact), it uses a new technology.
Its the first confirmed game to really work with full 1-on-1 motion recognition.

An intrepid hero, lost in a magical land, armed with a big ass fucking SWORD, and each small movement of your arm is captured in screen, making you inside of the game???

Jesus, if this cant sell to every single person on earth, nothing can.
